good, but in my case i play as robby i don't have this option because i have to play until midnight at most because i have to work the next day in the morning but the field at dawn is much smaller and easier to reach

I agree that people have much less hours in the morning. But playing in the morning is essential to have free time. If a person has a permanent job and poker is a hobby, then it is not profitable for him to play in the morning tournaments. If for a person poker is a permanent job, then, accordingly, he can afford to move, say, to Mexico, where the time zone is different, or sleep during the day and play at night.

The problem for some is tiredness.

That doesn't work for vampires though. For me at dawn its time to hit the coffin.

I kinda have to agree with you on this and even guaranteeds are lower at that time of day (at least on GMT). However, I find it nearly impossible to play at dawn because markets open at 8 over here and gotta catch up on the news so can't focus much on poker. Wondering if it's actually any easier or if people make more mistakes at that time? But with poker being international, with everyone in different time zones, someone's morning is other's peak time. Interesting.thought though. Will give it a few tries and get back to you with my thoughts.
One thing I know is that nights-dawns have been quite productive for rush and cash as there are many Chinese spewers at that time and a bottom or middle pair is taken all the way to showdown quite often.

We're all different, I MUCH prefer the largest field sizes possible.

If I have a choice of a 200 player tournament or a 2000 player tournament, I will play the 2000 player tournament every time.

Because tournaments pay out a specific percentage of the field, it is NOT easier to cash the 200 player tournament than cash in the 2000 player tournament... you have to beat approximately 85% of the field in either tourney... Yes, of course that takes much longer with 2000 players, but so what? I am always prepared to play 6, 8 or even 10 to 12 hours in any tournament I play. By their very nature, tournaments are not a sprint, they are a marathon.

And naturally, when we DO make the money, the 2000 player tournament is going to pay out much more than the 200 player tournament does. That is a simple math exercise that no one would dispute (assuming equal buy-ins, of course).

So unless you are pressed for time, then always play the largest field size you can find... and if you ARE in a hurry, then you shouldn't be playing a tournament that day, you can either play a single-table Sit-and-Go, or play cash games.

My opinions obv, I know others disagree with my take on it.

Actually... yes. I am much more wide-awake in the mornings. By evening, I am already getting sleepy and tired. LOL It's the curse of getting old, I think.

But as I said in my previous post, the reason I usually don't play the morning tournaments is because they have a much smaller field size, and I prefer the largest ones.

I resolve this dilemma by understanding that if I feel the slightest bit tired, I will not play poker that evening... this is where CardsChat freerolls are such a blessing, I can always just play those in the evening because they only take 3 or 4 hours at the most to finish, and it satisfies my "poker addiction" even tho its not a huge score. I really don't play poker to win money, I play poker because I love the game. I'm weird like that.

Indeed, playing at dawn is much better, you sleep well and you can play with a fresh head, intuition works better, I played several times in the morning and always went to the final table.

You are also probably playing against zombies.

Not surprising !!! The more players there are, the less often you will win the tournament !!! But keep in mind that the prize money will be less !!! With a large number of players, you will be less likely to get to the final table, but the prize money will be higher and in the end, at the distance (in monetary terms), practically nothing will change for you !!!
