Yes. I love spending time on playing poker. I will never get bored of this game. CC tournaments is the best freerolls to play with a lot of good players.

For me poker is fun most of the time. Although sometimes it takes me out of seriousness. But deep down I know that the good times and the bad are part of the game.

The important thing is to play responsibly, without jeopardizing your financial and emotional stability.

As poker players, we all have a hard time explaining exactly how we make money, which is why we sit for many hours at the poker tables, and then spend the same or more hours working on the game. All this may be completely incomprehensible to our non-gaming friends and relatives, because there are just a bunch of stupid stereotypes, myths and misunderstandings about poker.Everyone knows that "the casino always wins". Every game there is rigged to allow you to win a few times but lose everything most of the time. And everyone loses if they play long enough. This is true for every casino game except poker. The fundamental difference of poker is that here you play not against the casino, but against other players.

Poker is a dream job. You ride through the Internet, you choose how much to work. Here the amount of invested effort affects the level of your earnings. Competitive environment with elements of excitement.

Pokers been good to me over the years. Have played high as 50nl cash before, then enjoyed playing MTT's for years and years. Then started back playing 2nl cash again back in Oct 2022. Still a winning player thru it all and slowly building my way back up too 50nl. For me it's not so much about the money having a little extra never hurts though lol. It's more about the fact I also enjoy playing and the competition of it all so I'd play anyway regardless. If I was losing player though I wouldn't play above the lowest stake available which is 2nl on Pokerstars.

Oh and the entertainment value poker has provided over the years is amazing. Nothing funnier and more entertaining then a guy losing his mind and becoming completely unhinged over losing less then .50 or another smallish amount when he gets sucked out on...on the river lmao.

I also think. because when I'm stressed and out of patience. my remedy is to play poker, because even in the stress of the hands I feel much happier.

I used to enjoy Poker so much, I ran a weekly game at my local Pub and played 3 or 4 times a week on-line, but then trying to see if I could make money from on-line Poker I just got burned out! I didn't lose any money, in Fact I proved to my self that making money on-line was possible.
I just lost interest in the game. Sad but True!

If you are referring to games that you can play for "play money" then I would agree with you, any game play is good practice even if you are the only player at the table, intent on playing as if you were in a wsop or WPT, event.
The only way to learn Poker is to play it, You can watch all the videos and read as many books as you want, but to become a solid all round player You have to experience it. Like driving a Car, You can read the "Highway Code" and have a full understanding of the rules of the road, but until you sit in the driving seat you are not going to be a good driver, unless you experience Driving.
Play money chips are just as important as real money if you learn to play well, When Pokerstars first started their on-line poker site they gave you 2,000 play money chips to get you started, if you busted out, you just had to ask for a re-buy and they gave you another 2,000, I have lost count of how many times I had to ask for a re-buy when I first started to play, but after a while I treated them as I do with any bankroll and soon ran that 2,000 up to half a Million.
it was only then that I felt comfortable playing for real money in Micro stake games, and started to use the money I had won from cashing in free-rolls, It has taken a while, but all the time I got better and now I play for real money in Live Tournaments in Pubs and Casino's, and On-line.

For me, poker is a good pastime that allows you to abstract from the events around you. Poker, as in life, always plays on two sides. Entertainment or something more, everyone decides for himself, but the fact that he turned my mind is a fact. Spend time with family, children, friends, and if there is time left, play poker.
