Well yes, it must be possible because people have done it. I think you have to be dedicated and play and study the game all the time, hon your craft, (not get rattled by bad beats and whatnot) and then get really, really lucky. After all your hard work, the stars have to align! GL

I am afraid that at present casinos try to change the poker to the game of chance, where skills play a minimal or no part at all.
All that turbo, zoom, twister, hexa are fast games with small initial number of chips,
then the blinds and antes rise fast, unlimited re-buys, addons render any strategy less and less effective.
I think there will still be a place for professional poker players but fewer than one can expect judging by the present popularity of the game.

I do not know what you mean in a career, but it can be a job if you do it professionally or another option to have income

I've made a past time career out of it but i see no retirement in it as far as online goes. Seems i can only win enough to keep me playing. Maybe one day i'll win enough to get into a major stakes game and win till then i just keep on keeping on

Anything can be a career these days. Having a nut of $200.00 a month you could even panhandle.

How much can you afford to put into poker (time and money) without destroying your current lifestyle? How long could you run bad before things averaged out?

Can i persue it as a career mind you my monthly income is 200$

Yea you can call it like this. But for sure you have to move up in stakes and increase your monthly income for a successfull career.

If you want 200$ per month shouldn't be hard. But it s a lot off stress. If you want more money and bit less stress try to think about other skills and hobbies and start freelancing or starting small business.

Few years ago I would think about investing in blockchain.

I think poker is a career if you constantly play and read recommendations experienced players, asking them questions, the forum is an opportunity, so go ahead ...

Yes it can be done. A friend of mine lives entirely from poker winnings and he has wife and child so if you invest enough time and improve enough your skills this can become your job. Keep in mind though that this will require serious devotion from your side and also that small percent of poker players are able to do it for living.

If we refer to career, to the fact of having a solid game, which is based on study and disciplined work. And as a result we get positive long-term results, the answer is yes. Greetings.

Think that can be. You need to play the bankroll. There must be a good start-up capital to earn

It is for some .....

It depends on allot of things. How much do you need to live and how good you are to play are two good questions to ask yourself before you attempt to.

On the poker forums there are many examples of people with brilliant education, obvious mathematical abilities, steel nerves and iron self-discipline, who for years have not been able to pass the initial poker limits, so this can also be interpreted differently, it all depends on which side you see what poker is for you career!

If you win as much money monthly as you can afford to live on, then poker can definitely be your career.

Of course, as long as you have the basics of poker, yes. It's more like they said above, even in freerols you can win that amount if you play with commitment and head. Successes and forward.:D

If you can live on it, I think it's a career.
