If we’re talking about overall modern skill and consistency, many people would point to Yuri Martins Dzivielevski as the strongest Brazilian player today. He’s respected worldwide for both online and live results, especially in high-level mixed games and tournaments, and has multiple wsop bracelets. Older generations often mention Andre Akkari because of his influence on poker culture in Brazil and his long-term success. Brazil has produced many elite players, but Yuri is probably the name most professionals would currently rank at the very top in terms of pure technical ability and consistency.

For me, the best Brazilian poker player is probably Yuri Dzivielevski.
He has been incredibly consistent in both online and live poker formats.
Yuri is especially respected for his technical skill, discipline, and deep understanding of MTT strategy.
He has multiple major titles, strong SCOOP/WCOOP results, and also won a WSOP bracelet.
Another reason players respect him is his adaptability across different poker variants and stake levels.
