Poker & casino game’s/ addict /problem to what /advise help /and your story ?

I play for 20+ years poker
I play micro stakes cash games ,
99% of the time plo rush & cash at GGpoker..
I play short sessions for max 3hours a day
but I’m losing gambler (with poker I’m winning player)
but my problem is I cash out poker money and loose whole bankroll on slots at other casino’s
im already banned at ggcasino to just play poker at GGPoker
im registered on to many casinos and that’s still the problem I think

mayb it’s time to set goal that i gone ban myself from all online casinos
at age 45 (I’m 41at moment )

it triggers me that I’m winning on slots 2000x at one spin 🤣🤣🤣
with poker my record is just win 10x buyin in half hour..

I like both to play! (Poker&slots)
but can not afford casino games..
that’s why I said I’m losing gambler in general.

what is your story of gambling and or playing poker ?

I don't spend money on the game. I've been playing poker for over 7 years, and when I started playing, I started for fun. Now, after 7 years of playing, poker has become a source of income for me in addition to entertainment.
If you know what your problem is, it means you can solve it. It all depends on you, on your self-confidence and your decisions. In general, everything is simple, you need to set a goal and go towards it step by step. If you don't have a goal, you have no motivation to become better.

Poker funds should never be in any way related to any other form of gambling.

You HAVE to separate. If you can't then yes you are an addict. Almost everyone is a losing gambler vs the bookies.

I think it's like anything else... if you're serious about quitting you wouldn't wait 4 years....,

being a poker player and being a gambler are 2 separate things, you are stealing money from yourself

to throw it away on gambling... would you let anyone else do that to you?... I don't think so😎👍

My only real Addiction is Weed. Soon, around 2045, I'm going to set Goals and delete all Contacts that could lead me to consuming any Stuff.

I have no bad habits. I got rid of them, I play poker for fun, I actually only play freerolls and don't spend my own money on the game. If you want to play in a casino, the best thing you can do is to open your own.

Since you are a poker player, think about expected value. While playing poker, you play a strategic game, where you choose spots expecting +EV. Look at casino games: every single game is -EV. No way to win it long term.

2000x even at minimum stake is probably decent hit ...

Why not quit slots just now if u are already aware of the problem? U will loose money longterm and this fact alone should be enough to never play them again.

I used to play too much and chase losses. The best advice is to set limits, take breaks, and never play with money you can’t afford to lose. Poker is a game — not a way to escape problems.

I have the same problem, except for a few details.
I ask the poker room to close everything related to casino and betting. I just keep poker.
Then I tell myself that if I win more than $2k, I'll cash out.
But I'm still having a lot of trouble with my BRM.

I have to say, I take a medication that increases my gambling... (it's weird, but it exists).
My goal is 100% poker.

If someone is always losing money at the casino, I wonder — what’s the motivation to keep going?
I’m not talking about poker here, but more about games like slots or roulette.
Personally, if I kept losing every time, I would’ve stopped long ago.
Are there actually people who manage to stay in profit at the casino over time?

You can win 1000x in few minutes and with poker you need weeks to make the same money , that’s what triggers me most

In what game can you realistically build your bankroll 1000x? If you think that way, you might as well just buy a lottery ticket and hope to hit $100M. All those 1000x wins in slots, roulette, or lotteries are just a “survivorship bias.” In poker, it all depends on your skills — plus a little bit of luck.
