I always play for fun, winning money is just a bonus. I don't always play for cash though, sometimes I jump into play money games just so I can start with 1,000,000 chips right off the bat.

I would love to meet the player that started as a professional...

I think players know early on if they have what it takes to play for a living - Also, if you love what your doing it's never work

I started playing poker for fun and eventually turned it into a job. This adds a certain element of stress to the game no matter what. But I always try to keep the serious side out of it. I am always extremely well bankrolled so there is next to zero chance of ever going broke. I try to always remember why I started playing this game in the first place and just enjoy it, even though my bills depend on my success.

I play poker for fun, as a hobby. But if your favorite hobby brings more money, it's super easy!

Not so many people can really say that poker is their job. If you want it to be so, you need to work hard on your game, see lots of videos and read different poker books , and after that you maybe can make some money on poker.
As for me, it,s seems better to play poker after your real life job. So you will have enough money for life, and you can safety play the game without any risk.

I think we all start with fun, as you go, you will get to know the game more and the results will come, yes it will be work.

I think it depends on your badjet. If you can affort to play 10$ a week you can't expect to make some good money (if you get very lucky maybe but this doesn't happen very often).

To make poker your job it needs lots of things! One of them is money... You must have a good bankroll, be self-restraint and self-discipline, have a good strategy, much time to play and of course good knowledge of the game and much experience...
