Being that I'm 70 years old and disabled, it's fun (most of the time, lol) and a job. By job it means I supplement My Social Security Check with a little additional income each month not much but a little.

Begun playing for fun and still am, but it's a nice little bonus. But when it comes to choose the type of game I want to play, I'll choose one with the most fun, not where I make the most money.

Fun - A job pays regular

Poker has to be the most profitable game out there today, but the most inconstant source of income that I know of, if you played this as a job, I could see some weeks / months of being totally broke until you win a major tournament and build up a very good bankroll. Good luck turning that into a permanent job. Not something I would want to take on.

Poker is my life!! When I frrst met my late hubby, he told me he wanted to be a professional poker player. He was an IT guy and I thought, I cant be with this guy, thats crazy talk. Im ffrom the south and never played cards. He opened pokerstars, showed me the game and I was forever hooked!!

Usually everyone who adheres to this sport and see the possibility to earn money in a simple and fun way just wanting to make this sport as work but the big mistake that happens now and not preparamento these new people engaging in poker without knowing the risks loss also further if beginner and do not have a good idea of logic and methodology of this sport, so be sure and study a lot about poker and its technical concepts and oh yes meshing making a control of your Bankroll ...
