gambling is prohibited in my country, online is also prohibited, but people play online poker and oddly enough still manage to withdraw cash. Everything is very confusing

About 15 years ago poker was very popular and many of my friends had poker sets so we played live for fun with small buyins and big beers.A friend of mine that did not like to fold, called and allin from an aggresive player in the blind from the toilet and won.I never forget that.Today poker is not very popular but I still play, most of my friends do other things today.

In my country Argentina tournaments are played everywhere every month.
I have not yet been able to participate in any of the largest.
Maybe one day I will, for the moment my game is online cash.

Poker in my country is very little encouraged. Furthermore, it is seen as a game of chance. Many people in my country are unaware that poker is a mental sport.

Before in Brazil there were clandestine poker houses, nowadays, mainly in São Paulo there are more than 50 houses, which I frequent are 3, but I have visited others

Here poker is legal and can be played live.
However i don't play in casions, the only live poker i play is some tournaments / cashgames with some regular friends/aquintances. It is real thrill and fun

Live poker is not legal in my country , only home games.

The exception from this rule is the Norwegian Championship. This year it will take place from September 30 - October 8, just outside of Oslo. I am planning to play at least 2 of the tournaments, if my wallet can afford it.

I should imagine you could find LIVE-poker tournaments etc pretty much every single month here. Luckily/Sadly i'm not interested in them so yeah ...

Earlier there were offline poker rooms a lot in Hungary,but nowdays their number decreased. Earlier I went too offline poker rooms,and I won sometimes bigger sum,but not more,as online.

Unfortunately.. offline poker is not very common in my country. But I know that players from my country - Belarus, as a rule, are plus regulars online.

I would say that quite a few people play poker in my country, and we even have our own small poker room. There are also various offline and online tournament series held regularly. There are many poker clubs where you can come and play poker.

poker is developing in my country, of course, but there are not so many tournaments in life and there are no big ones so we hope that we will develop into offline tournaments in the future. I haven't gone to offline tournaments for a long time because there is an online tournament and I don't see the point in going to play offline online now

Sweden has a lot of good professionals and our government-controlled site where we only could play against other Swedes was very soft up to the equivalent of 100NL.

But recently the national site has merged its player pool (or most of it) with the iPoker network (full of bots and colliders since a decade back).

Plus "to protect gambling addicts" they only let us play poker on sites with a license - and after the poker site gets their license they are not allowed to give rakeback, bonuses, or freerolls of any kind to Swedish players. The same with sports betting sites.

So my enthusiasm to play poker or bet on sports to earn money is almost zero. We don't get to compete on equal terms with other players.
