For me, poker is the time spent on a profitable vacation. And play and pulse rate can be a good. Money by itself is never a hindrance.

Yes, such work was that on all points coincide.
Pro poker is such that I can not say 100%. But everything goes in this direction. Over time, the start points confirmed.

I'm using poker as an opportunity to work on discipline. I'll see how it goes

I'm trying to focus on studying a certain amount each day and then playing a certain amount. I want to build up my ability to focus for long periods and maintain my concentration.

Yesterday I made a simple math. 400 000 USD is the first place prize for the winner at the Christmas Monday Million. In my country I work for 1100 USD monthly. Let us round it to 1000. These are 12000 yearly. 400 000 divided by 12000 are 33 years. I can live 33 years without working 10 hours a day 26 days a month. I guess for these 33 years I will win at least 1 tournament with a first place prize = 100 000 which will add some more years. The point is it could be your lifetime job.

Poker is just a hobby in my life at the moment, but i'll surely try to become succesfull in some regional tournaments. Overall i think some ppl have way more texture to play poker without studying a lot, in my case i think that ill need to study a lot. hahaha

Interesting point, I dont see it as a job mainly because I dont make money like the pro players, but when the money starts to come in you begin to develop more passion for it, even if money isn't your main goal, just the fact that you can make a living out of it is fascinating, unfortunally im a little bit far from making that kind of money.

Poker is passion for me since i have started playing poker i've been focusing towards learning more and more rather than earning money out of this... It gives confidence and belief on myself and my decisions .

Me too . The best hobby ever . Although the last days I 've taken things a lot more seriously and have started studying my hands , theory , try to improve to get sth better of it (more than just a hobby ). Everyday I 'm reading articles for hours (3 hours at least,thanks god at weekends I have a lot more time) , theory and game/play everyday for one week now , and it's only the beginning ... So much to learn , but I have patience ...

If you like poker it is surely for you. Just study the mode you want to play before you start playing. Every game has its rules, whether board, or any other. So have all the rules decorated and start practicing with free games, and once you feel ready you start to invest money.

Poker is very risky.Once I read a story about Negreanue and when he was 20 or little more he played in restricted club and many games ended with a gun at somebodies head)))that were his memories but it is really good that poker is legally now and widespread))))

Poker is a swingy, variance-filled game. You can win for months without actually being a winning player.
Conversely you can be an awesome player yet still lose for a month or more. It’s just part of the game.
These swings are inevitable. You might think that you can handle downswings well, but when poker is your only source of income downswings can take an especially hard mental toll.
