poker is too swingy for me to earn a livable constant wage, but it is a fun and legitimate way to earn some extra money and to socialize with others. but you can read and get better and be excited about it even still. that just means you'll get better faster

Poker is what I want to do for the rest of my life. It's my passion, I love the game. Being able to do it professionally would be a bonus because then I wouldn't have to work, which means more poker. I do think that one day, no matter if it takes 20 years, I'll go pro.

I love poker. Money is not my first concern when playing poker, i just love the concept of the game. Poker in all its forms is probably the only card game im interested in playing. Even before i played for money i usta love playing for playmoney, for me it was just the joy from besting your opponents and having them think "wow hes good". More about bragging rights for me and being acknowledge as a good/great player. Just love its randomness and uncertainty, you could be ahead 99% on the turn and then, A BOOM MOMENT, river comes and chips goes to the other side of the table. Love the varying styles of players that you play with and the diff tricks they come with to make it harder for you to read the situation. POKER IS FOR ME
