That it's only played by the toughest, roughest sort of people: Criminals, people who constantly live on the edge, guys who wear an eye patch as a fashion statement. I blame movies for that misconception.

You took the negative side of poker players, why didn't you take the positive side? It's not really that aggressive that turns out as possible by a very small percentage

A implicit myth: pocket sevens are magic. It's not. I see many players shove with it. It's just like any other pair when hits the flop a set.

Like others said, many believe that only bad guys or rich people plays poker. I think it's because that's how many directors portray poker in their movies.
