Personally, at the very beginning I wholeheartedly believed that poker was all about nitting. Ahh those good old days.
In general I notice that people not familiar with the game sometimes think that good poker is some kind of high-risk
gambling-esque game where you are always financially on edge. Even though the risk is a real thing, that's basically why you have bankroll management. And the winning game itself is less about risking and more about long-run grinding than people tend to believe.

Makes sense TBH, technically to be a winning player you just need to beat the rake, which should not be that big of a problem at the low stakes, unless you play somewhere very predatorily monetized.
