There is no sport where an 80 year old man in a cowboy hat can beat a 21 year old. So no poker is not a sport it’s a skill just like golf.

If they consider 48 hillbillies chasing each other around in a circle for 5 hours at 200 miles per hour a sport then yes absolutely poker is a sport!

why poker is not a sport, if championships are held by a huge number of people from all over the world, leaders, etc. Winners receive cups.
All this is more like a sport

Anyway, you need some technique to play dart and snooker..while chess...hmm, i wouldn't say it's sport.:D

That ican understand.

The more people that want it to be a sport however, it eventually will be. Soon we'll have country based events where 5-10 per nation enter and compete to see who has the balls (or lack there of :D not leaving out the ladies) to win.
