Do you also do yoga before any poker session?.

I've read once that yoga helps you're focus and generally is a great help on you're poker game.

Way back while I was playing regularly at casinos I always stop by the comfort room and do some stretching so to get ready for playing.

Also on tournaments I always find a way to get solo on breaks and do some yoga.

I find it very helpful and it shows on my results.

Do others have things they do before and after a game?..I would like to know^_^..

I didn't try yoga, but I regularly visit the gym. Powerlifting helps me to chill out and makes my nerves strong. I almost forgot about tilt. I can make stupid mistakes only after very long night sessions.

By the way, British scientists have shown that 15 minutes of laughter before the mental and physical exertion increases endurance and concentration by 20 percent. Therefore, before playing poker - I look anecdotes by Mamenko.

I don't yoga before a poker session, but I wouldn't doubt that it will help your poker game. Any kind of meditation, yoga or stress relief is a great way to enhance your poker mind and focus.

I should, I find meditation helpful, but I got out of the habit and can't seem to get back into it.

Not so sure i'm flexible enough to do yoga but I like to listen to music before I play to relax my nerves. Once the cards are in the air its straight focus the music goes off.

After a serious poker game, sometimes just need to relax in order to feel at peace. Yoga - one of the most simple, but at the same time, effective methods.

Before playing poker, I don’t do anything, I just sit down and start playing. I don't think yoga or other physical activity can improve my poker game.

Yoga or any sort of focused, relaxing, body and mind stretching can do nothing but help. However most poker players are not likely to bother or believe that it can help. Very few players, even the pros other than maybe Daniel Negreanu, who is a vegetarian I believe or even a vegan, will bother to try. There are probably a few others, that I am not aware of that do practice yoga or are vegetarian. I also believe Daniel might even practice yoga himself.

Yoga is very good to keep brains sharp, but tai chi is even better. You should try that, and lot of easier than yoga

I don't do anything before playing poker. I just sit down and play. Sometimes I'll put on music since it makes it more exciting.
