Yeah, wonder when he sleeps at all, cause he is playing like 15hrs/day.

I guess its not substainable though, cause he will either win and have troubles finding enough action, or loose, and start tilting.

He said he had a bit over 500k fpp's this far, and there was another guy, 30-tabling high stakes SnG's, who said he had around 700k fpp's this year.

Yeah but unless those guys are actively pursuing the record like poopy, you'd have to imagine that they'll be taking lots of time off throughout the year.

Yeah, true. Like last year George Lind III had like 1M after a month, then he didnt play so much rest of the year.

And Viktor actually said he couldnt care less about SNE or FPP's.

Go for it Dude, Everyone needs a goal, especially in the Poker world.

It sounds like you have already got a heap of followers (me too), so keep us all upto date with your progress.

Ive been waiting for a thread like this on CC. I only play Microstakes, with a maximum of 4 cash tables at once, and maybe a MTT going as well. So for some of us mere mortals this will be very interesting indeed.

Azntracker is the high stakes sng player who has approx 700k vpps atm. He desperately wants to get the record for 1mill vpps, but said he will cut down a little after that.

An over used quote but that is truelly sick, how the hell he managed to get that many vpps in the shortest month of the year. I am now drooling imagine the bonuses he will get for the rest of the year plus the fact he will now be able to focus more on gaining profit over killing himself volume wise.

From what I gather, AZNtracker was going for the first SNE of they year and most likely won't be grinding like that for a full 12 months now that he's done it.

No doubt. No updates in a month, no blog updates since late Feb and the channel has been dead for weeks.

WTF happened to Poopy???

Last I heard he went from the blog to a website--pokerpoopy.com--which I just tried but got a window saying I had to download a flashplayer from a wiz.com. That's a URL I don't know of, so I'm wary. Has anyone else checked his site lately?

Regardless, I was so worried that this might happen. His blast in January was so intense I didn't know how it could last and even voiced my concerns to that effect right here.

My experience has been that poopy and his lady Aleks are very fine people. Wherever they are and whatever they're doing I wish them well...

and I also wish they'd touch base with us.

I goofed, I meant to say website. I checked the URL, but the last update was Feb 28 (iirc).

And I agree, about them being fine people. Kevin's attitude was great and contagious. He was always on the up and up, and Aleksandra was always friendly and supportive.

I hope he didn't burn himself out too hard last month.

I seriously hope to see a post by him some time soon saying something like "Aleks and I have been ballin' in Las Vegas for a couple of weeks, taking down some big session scores and I'm ready to get back on pace for my VPP Record run."

One can only hope.

OK guys, dont panic I'll update you with what I know.

LarkMarlow, He did move to a new site, pokerpoopy.com and you are the first person to have a problem getting on there. I believe the site you mentioned is wix.com not wiz and it's a legit site, it was used to create his website, and it's flash based so you may just have to update your flash player.

He stopped playing in February for a few reasons. Most importantly, he took time off to get coaching. I think he's had a few sessions so far and has put in 25k hands or so. He's also looking for a new house, so he's been pretty busy with that as well.

He' was streaming live tonight for awhile, and he wants to get back to a full time grind by the end of the month, maybe a little into April.

That's all I know for now.

His last update was march 12th, so check it out.

Thanks for the update Matt! Last time I checked the site was mid last week and there was nothing new on it.

gl man. we will be rooting for you. I know Azntracker is over prob around 1.15 million VPP's and Isildur1 has gotta to be close to 1 million so you got your work cut out for you. best of luck...

He is a bit behind pace, but his aim was 4 million, while he only needs 3.1 to break the record. With regards to azntracker, he was going for first SNE of the year and will probably chill for a bit, and Blom won't grind all year, he'll be all over travelling and such, so hopefully they won't be an issue!

Everyone!! Sorry! It has been quite awhile and I apologize!

Let's get down to biz- I've been very busy doing certain things that had to happen this year for me to have a chance at breaking this record.

First, as matt said, I got coaching. I got a coach for midstakes CAP games, whom I believe to be one of the top, if not THE top, midstakes players currently in the game.

He has vastly improved my game in only 9 sessions or so, and I am very excited about it. I've only played 25K hands since getting coaching because I have been playing only 9 tables at most and really focusing.

I hope those pics came out ok! So yea, he's turned me into a crusher super quickly which I"m really happy about, so now I am hoping I can build my tables back up to 16+ by the end of this month, and get back on pace for beating this record

I've also been house hunting and trying to find a new place because my lease goes up in Apr. 15thish, and it has been a real b*tch. We will find someplace soon enough though, so I'm keeping my head up

And when we move in, we will have new, super fast internet...so the JTV stream will be really great.

So that's basically all I have for the update...oh yea! Aleks and I also started doing P90x. It's insanely hard, but a very rewarding workout so come 90 days poopy should be looking stellar.
