I think the principle of power is to win! Of course, if you can earn lots of money, starting small or with freerolls, that would be great. How long it will take very much depends on the individual, in my opinion. It depends what skill level someone has, the time they dedicate to poker, the level of competition and so on.

As much as we might want to dream, making big from small is hard. Not only in poker, but also generally in life. There is a very small amount of people that made that dream come true at the cost of millions and millions of others.
Generally I would say you need big to make bigger and if you have small you can make it a bit bigger small, yet it's still small.

You're going to need to drastically change your thinking if you have hopes of ever acquiring/managing a bankroll. First & foremost you must have a passion for the game of poker. If you don't, you won't do what it takes to succeed.
