I've seen some awesome prizes out there available that poker players can win other than money. From 7-day cruises to the Bahamas to gift cards from Omaha steaks. What prizes have you won other than money...

I beat 1000 people in a freeroll and had a choice of prizes, I went for a decent laptop. final hand i had QQ against KK, and spiked a Q, other guy was gutted as 2nd paid nothing, it was a winner takes all.

At the casino i play at they used to do a cracked Aces promo.. a guy got his aces cracked and won an ipod.. I bought it for $25 in chips on the table.. Than i stacked him less than 10 hands later lol... So i guess that counts as me winning the Ipod

I played in a 25,000 person free-roll on Stars and got top 25 to win a seat into an 800$ satellite for some 10k event. Needless to say I lost the satellite but it was fun.

Won a freeroll when a software site first opened that awarded 1st Place copy of HEM. Also won books and shirts, mostly from Royal Vegas Poker. The books won were:

Holdem Poker for Advanced Players - Sklansky + Malmuth
The Psychology of Poker - Schoonmaker (Sklansky consultant)
Signed Copy of Holdem Excellence - Krieger

Both Schoonmaker and Krieger played at Royal Vegas Poker and were a pleasure at the tables. I will hold the autographed copy of Lou Krieger's book dearly since he recently passed away unexpectedly.

Everest had a Christmas promotion where they gave away tournament chipsets to the top 10 players each day the whole of last month, so lots of people won those, including me.
Of course it was pretty much random since it was extremely short stacked (50 chips) and the blinds started out as 50/25 and 25 ante, and doubling once a minute.
Still, you did have to make some good decisions, in the later stages to win, and so I did, on Christmas day no less.

info just found searching south africa at pokernews;

175 players each put down 25,000 rands, or roughly $3,600, to take their shots at the South African PokerNews Open Main Event in Johannesburg, South Africa. Notables present included Tony 'G' Guoga and Raymond Rahme. Rahme became South Africa's favorite son (or grandfather) of poker when he made the final table of the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event. The 175 players built a prize pool of over $500,000, with $140,575 scheduled for the champion.

There were several freeroll qualifiers in the field, including Andrew Lindsay, Danny Durkens, Sang Nguyen, K****** D******, Enrico Lencia and Mike Byrd. These players all qualified through special PokerNews.com freerolls that covered their entry fees, airfare and accommodations. As Day 1 drew to a close, Lindsay, Byrd and D*****k were the remaining PokerNews.com qualifiers. Tony G busted early on Day 1.

Also in the field was local celebrity Colin Moss. Moss is the host of "Idols," the South African version of American Idol. The Ryan Seacrest of South Africa became part of a featured table when he joined Rahme and Sandy Koor, the tournament director for the poker site All Africa Poker. Koor finished the day with a strong double-up, as he put a dent in Rahme's chip stack during the last level of play. Koor got all his money in with pocket queens against Rahme's

, and the flop came down 6-2-10 with two spades. Koor dodged the remaining aces and spades in the deck to double up entering Day 2.

Day 2 kicked off with 77 players remaining, including Rahme and two South African WSOP bracelet winners, Norman Keyser and Hugh Todd. The first level of play was brutal, eliminating more than half the field. 36 players remained at that point, with the bubble at 18 players. It didn't take much longer for the bubble to burst

Highlights of trip was metting Raymond Rahme whom was my idol at the time and still is. His whole family can play some serious poker. I also met Tong G and talked some while swimming outside in pool. His wife and kids were poolside. Also was invited to dinner bash with bunch from Pokertime poker which is headquarters in South Africa. Biggest dream as a child was going to Africa and I finished 34 in tourney. I went out with my bb q-10 losing to sb q-9 on TV table. My eyes were closed and Raymond Rahme said he rivered you! I shook his hand and left.
