Ritual Before You Play?

No rituals - but before i start playing i do some check:
How much time do i have.
What kind of game to play tonight.
How much money on the account
Is everything in place - tea, soft drink, sweets, ect.
Can i play without interruptions.

1 cup of coffee and 1 cigar before the game.But I would not call it a ritual.

I really don't need one. I live in a 30' camper so I can easily multitask anything I need.

My ritual before sitting down to play poker is first clean the computer ... then I go to the bathroom before playing, I prepare coffee to take a cup in the breaks of the game ... then I select two or three tournaments to start playing .. .!

I make sure and clean up, cook and have a shower. Oh and have a snack at the table for me to munch on lol.

It's very simple - the main thing is for you to rest and sleep. If you are tired, you will make more mistakes, and then the probability of your victory will be much less. Just make sure that you are well and fully focused on the game

Call me superstitious, but I think it is important for me to have a pregame ritual.

When I play live...

I always exercise first. Then I come home to shower, get dressed, and make sure I pack everything I will need for the day- headphones, snus, and a jacket in case the casino is cold.

I then get something to eat at one of my favorite Vegas breakfast spots- Eggs Works, Stacks and Yolks, Rise & Shine, or The Cracked Egg.

After breakfast I hop on the freeway and crank up a playlist of songs that pump me up to play my best game.

I tend to make my playing desk as clean as possible. I make myself some drink and food and enjoy.
