Probably a stupid question, but for limit games, how much should I be buying in for, since there is no max on stars? Say for .25/.50 FL.

you always want to make sure you have enough in your stack so that you can cap each street. So at .25/.50, you need $8 i think it is minimum in your stack each hand

Yeah, 20xBB is a good amount to buy in for at limit. So for .25/.50 LHE, $10. Some sites default to a buyin of 10xBB, but that doesn't feel like enough. A couple of bad hands and you're reupping already.

You need 12BB to cap the betting at every round. You need more than this to cushion between hands, so as you said, 20BB is fine.

I find that 30BB works better for 6max, however

but its not gonna last, mostly just first day to get a head start since ill more than likely play less as the month goes on and ill be going on vacation for ~4 days so ill need some sort of buffer
