Beyond the cards and strategy, what kind of poker atmosphere do you prefer? Are you more at home in the lively, energetic vibe of a bustling poker room, or do you lean towards the quieter, focused ambiance of a more secluded game?
I like it when everyone at the poker table sits in a good mood, tells interesting stories, communicates with each other, there is no anger or aggression. In the poker clubs that I go to, the situation is usually like this when the game is not big. When a big game starts, nerves, negativity, screaming, in general, everything that I don’t like, begins. Poker is a gentleman's game and players should respect each other and the staff, but unfortunately not everyone understands this. No one forces anyone to play poker; people come to the club of their own free will.
Relaxed and pleasant environment: A calm and comfortable environment contributes to concentration and enjoyment of the game. The absence of unnecessary distractions allows me to focus on better strategic decisions.
I like to play at home, in my favorite chair. The home atmosphere helps my concentration the most and it seems to me that I play more productively when I play at home.
