I think that everything depends on the moment that is being generated at the table. For example, if it is for strategy and you need to advance in the game, it is advisable not to do so so that your cards are not called more often and so you are always left with the doubt that you will have in hand. On the other hand, if it's a hand where several players called, and in the end you drop a huge amount of chips and the others fold, out of courtesy it is sometimes good to show why your hand was superior.
