If you’re making a deep run and you’re already in the money, show the bluff. But early in a tournament never show the bluff.

Never ever show your bluffs. It is important that your opponents no as little a possible about your playing style.

I only show if there is a REASON to show.

Remember. Everything they see is information.

Show a bluff and you are more likely to get called.
Show only AA,KK,QQ,AK and you are more likely to induce more folds.
Showing from BB reveals more information about how you are prepared to defend.
Showing from UTG shows how spewey you really are.

At the end of the day -- as soon as you show, you may need to change up your game because you just gave an important data point re: your poker range/behaviour.

I don't tilt when I see a bluff. I just take note of what was going on when the bluff occurred. (Stack sizes, position, action) and next time, compare notes. If the behaviour is consistent, then we can adopt a strategy to recognise it and exploit it.

If you don't have a better reason than "to tilt them", I'd perhaps suggest you limit it. It is probably hurting you more than them.

Cheers,
JT

It's better to fold. It's safer. But bluffing is necessary in some situations

actually the best thing in poker is: the less information you give the more advantage you have but you can use it, but don't always show it, show it according to what you want them to see, you can use it to balance the range and also tilt your opponents as you mentioned, however you have to be very punctual and selective in what you show and keep in mind that good players will know what you are trying to do and you know that too:D

I think showing a winning bluff SPARINGLY is OK. The BLUFFEE may call a future winning raise from you--and you'll be all :)'s

Depends on the day, opponents, how high I´m rolling, how stacked I´m. I do, but most often I don´t!

maybe it's better to teach people to pay for the opening of a bluff?

I use that tactic as a secret weapon sometimes. If I bluff, and get caught, i use that for later when i have a good hand. They won't know if you're bluffing or not after a couple rounds of trying to fake 'em out.
It works.

If the bet is very strong and I don't have the best combination of cards, I don't risk my chips and tournament position for a pot, I always try not to cheat unless I have a high card and everyone passes?

I don't show any information to players, I have been a strong believer in if players want to see theyll pay. I really don't bluff much, cause I try to beat my opponents with the best hand I'm dealt. Bluffing is a hard thing to do, that's why I don't bluff. Also showing to many hands gives a lot of information to players, where all you do is will lose if bluffing to much. That is definitely à part of the game I don't have , bluffing is difficult I find. But maybe one day I'll learn, that part of the game.

it makes no sense to show your cards when bluffing to your opponent, you just give him additional information for the future

It's very very rare that I show my bluffs. If I do I usually do it because I'm either trying to tilt somebody that is either weak, or trying to deceive my opponent and make them think that all I do is bluff and not play with skill.

Other times I show my bluff when I'm doing suicide strategies that might either work for me or kill me.
