I just asking. That amount 400£ is the 5% of yor bankroll, right?
8 months late to ask OP if they are managing their bankroll properly or not?

Are any of you guys sick of the constant barrage of beats? ATM I'm thinking of quitting online play. In the last two days alone I've lost huge(for me) cash game pots £400+ once when I had 99.3% equity on the flop and the other flopped top set on both occasions the opponent has inexplicably jammed the entire stack into the middle first hand I've got JJ on 22J board and he has AK runs out A on turn A on river.
The other I've got KK on K63 and the other guy has 94s he goes runner runner for flush. I know it's paranoia thinking this but why would someone rip there entire stack in 10-15 x pot these situations .
I've been thinking do the they know the outcome of the hand can they see my hand and know they can get my entire stack. Does anyone else ever have these thoughts ?or just me

Ps in-between this I lost a 3 way allin with AA v KK and JJ for £300+ Jacks flopped a set and held
Cash games are a waste of space, time and often money. If you sit at the table long enough, the rake will eat all the profits.

You need to change your thinking.
When you see that all of the money has gone in and you're miles ahead... you've made your opponent make the worst possible play, etc. etc. You should be CELEBRATING this.... regardless of the outcome of the hand.

In the past I would get very angry with the DONKEYS who would play like garbage and then hit their miracle cards and knock me out of the tournament (or win a big pot on cash table). And I thought that I didn't mind it so much when I got coolered or when I got it in bad and lost but I could not get past 'those lucky donks!!!'.

BUT, this ^ thinking is the very opposite of how I need to be thinking. I should be quietly rejoicing that there are huge donks on the tables and that they have made the worst play possible vs. me.
Take it one step further and I am feeling good about them winning the hand (if DONKS didn't win hands this way, they would quit playing poker. This is the great thing about poker... bad players actually think it's mostly about catching good cards & getting lucky. It's good for poker when they win. It's great for poker when they do well in a tournament and even better if they go on a run of good results in tournaments, often resulting in them believing they are much better at the game then they actually are.

And if I can't wrap my head around this stuff and I am still ANGRY with those eff'n donks then picture that donk on your table is the old lady who lives down the street (or down the hallway) who really enjoys playing her online poker while sipping on a cup of tea. I mean how can you possible get upset with a nice old lady winning a hand of poker?????

Humanizing your opponents is a great strategy to work past the rage. But something beyond this type of tilt that is very difficult to get past (at least for me) is those moments when you're so close to accomplishing something great only to be reminded that you're still just tossing the dice in a high variance situation. You can get past all of the bad beat tilt only to find yourself in cooler type situations, or even just normal coin flips where the outcome just goes either way, and it will just not go your way .. over and over .. in the situations where it matters the most. That seems to be the nature of the long game, where you may still win over time, but there are no guarantees that you will win what you want to win, ever.

I've had these thoughts in the past and over time it's quite clear that they (your opponent, that ends up crushing you in the hand) don't really know the outcome of the hand, or at least not the way that you think they do.

I think many people like you simply struggle to accept the immense element of luck. The longer you play, the harder you could get hit. You cannot even plan the long run. It takes time, enthusiasm, and determination. I'm now convinced that anyone who seriously engages with poker recognizes other benefits and can accept things as they come. Those who only focus on the outcomes of hands and money won't stand a chance in the long run. It's a test of time and your personal resilience.
But yeah it's up to you, simply give up und be fine with that....

Not to mention that there are also many different formats of cash games and different levels of rake on different sites - and obviously table selection factors.
