breaks can be a good thing then get back on the horse....beats always gonna happen its pokerAre any of you guys sick of the constant barrage of beats? ATM I'm thinking of quitting online play. In the last two days alone I've lost huge(for me) cash game pots £400+ once when I had 99.3% equity on the flop and the other flopped top set on both occasions the opponent has inexplicably jammed the entire stack into the middle first hand I've got JJ on 22J board and he has AK runs out A on turn A on river.
The other I've got KK on K63 and the other guy has 94s he goes runner runner for flush. I know it's paranoia thinking this but why would someone rip there entire stack in 10-15 x pot these situations .
I've been thinking do the they know the outcome of the hand can they see my hand and know they can get my entire stack. Does anyone else ever have these thoughts ?or just me
Ps in-between this I lost a 3 way allin with AA v KK and JJ for £300+ Jacks flopped a set and held
In online poker this is much more common to happen. Online players are inevitably looser. And take a good look at the hands you mentioned:Its primarily online I play. I know obviously these things can happen but just seem to way too often. I watch a lot of poker streams on YouTube and in the last couple of days alone there is highlight reel beats I just need to deal with it better and not get so angry
This was almost like seeing the cards (he could see the equity):Do you really think other players see your cards? I've never had that feeling

You need to change your thinking.Part and parcel of the game is the mental side and that is a part of it I just don't have locked down. I'm an very competitive person and hate getting beat at anything. I can completely instantly shake it off if I've made a bad play or haven't got a bluff through but when I've got someone not just beat but unbelievably crushed 90%+ equity that's when I get quite angry and I need to learn how to deal with it
I just asking. That amount 400£ is the 5% of yor bankroll, right? Are any of you guys sick of the constant barrage of beats? ATM I'm thinking of quitting online play.
