Sounds to me more like donk calling the donk... 'Donk'.

I remember when online poker was taking off back pre-2010 on FTP you couldn't go 5mins. without seeing 'donk' /'donkey' in the chat (... hmm, maybe that was only happening on my tables

Donk just mean bad poker player. If you are not even trying to play well (going all in every hand), then why get offended, when someone point out the obvious - that you are not playing well? Also if the chat really bother you, it can be turned off

Welcome to online Poker.

I get called worse that or cursed out at least 3 times a week. You get used to it and you have to be able to play through it/ turn off chat.

Getting called a donk is normal. In fact some maniacs like me look forward to it as it means you are doing something right.

Tip: Focus on playing your own game and not worry about what others say to you at the table.

Bluff catching has got to be one of the top instant feel-good inducers in the game, right?

I was just trying to do a bit on his username 'donk 1st class' but it didn't really have legs, so went nowhere...

Wouldn't have thought I fall into the donk category in many people's books often, but I do enjoy trying to take the blinds/pot from UTG... That being said, I like to imagine my doing so with slightly more finesse than jamming J4o pre. LOL.

If one shoves J5 on the CO on a buyin game , with stacks more than 10 blinds (15 , 20 ) after him , even if he's chip leader , and gets 4 of a kind on the flop , or raise UTG on PLO 100 blinds , two call , one reraises , he 4 bet shoves with J825o gets two calls and wins with 3 of the kind on the board , I can call him anything I want ..........definetely a donk , lol .

Anyway , donk is not a curse , also fish , everyone uses it , if you don't like some chat comments , then mute chat during buyin games .

But if it's really offensive , during CC games take a screenshot and send it to a moderator , or on other games send the screenshot to the pokerroom's support , or sue him , why not , if your pockets allow it , get his money and send this bottom feed-chain fish where he deserves , to the bottom of the sea , or the streets , lol

I also remember DONK being used a lot in the early days but less now...Maybe I got better?

I think a few emotions when u are loosing a hand should be ok. I mean at some pokerrooms u have donkey, fish and poo emoji etc so everyone have to handle with it.But for sure it shouldn't go too far.
