Let people play the way they want to. It's their money and who are you to criticize the way they play their cards?

Im a donk though and I need you upset and tilty please :icon_comp
Id say or do anything to influence your play one way or the other.
But I firmly believe the policy of
Don't tap the glass! Who knows that saying?

Ive been gaming for 18 years now, online toxicity is, second only to cheating, the worst thing. Now days I just mute the chat. Even if people have the right to have an attitude it'd be cool if everybody was just good sports.

It's very important not to tap the glass!

If a player is new, and we talk down to them and make them feel useless and unwelcome, they might not return.

This is bad for the future of the game.

When we tap on the glass, we might draw attention to some type of terrible play of which the accused was blissfully unaware..

By alerting Bambi to the approaching headlights, you're reducing our chance of venison steak for dinner next time, haha..

This makes cardschat a pretty special oasis, for players of all levels, if you ask me!

I was in an 888 sit and go with someone who raised every hand, and wouldn't back down ever. When I beat him, he shouted donkey on the chat. Now, I am not that good a player, but him calling me that after the way he played seemed pretty funny.

Even though I know that calling players out for being the exact type of player that we should ALL want to see at our tables, I still the odd time, in frustration, call out players for horrible play that was rewarded by sheer luck. I don't do it very often but I do let my emotions prevail the odd time. In reality though, calling players donks, is such a donk move, that it makes YOU the donk. And I am including myself in that statement. Think of it, would you rather play against a table of donks or a table of pros? Always try and figure out who the donks are at your table and then try and ENCOURAGE their continued donk playing style. Donk is just another word for nit, fish, bad player etc etc etc. It is also very subjective and an opinion as well as a put down. You may not be the donk at a free roll table but if you were to somehow make the final table of a very high end high buy-in tourney, then chances are YOU may very likely be the table donk. I know I would surely be. ;-)

I haven't used that term in years. I thought it was funny when it was used on many poker shows years ago.

You all argue about people playing and about not insulting other player. For me all of what you are doing is not good. Playing all in just for enjoying can ruin somebody that wants to starts career as poker player. And dont insulting other way of play too. Like fish and donk. It will make them aware that they play the wrong approach. Let them plays like that so we can benefit from how they play. If everybody plays good and proper game. Who will win? All in all poker is a gambling game. A zero sum game. When we win, we win others people money. How we win it? By benefetting how other people play.

There are no rules on what cards you can play or how to play them. For the game to work it needs to be unpredictable. I used to let off steam in the chat box all the time but in the end it wont change anything other than possibly getting a chat ban. If I get too annoyed now I just take a break from playing.

The truth is to do that is a lack of respect for our profession and the result of a swollen ego is far from our hand to prevent a player with tell or little experience from making crazy movements and winning the odd hand even I sometimes even encourage them to play So
