Hello!🤗
I was more interested in your situation.🌺🌺🌺

Sometimes a break is simply not enough, especially if you systematically feel the need for a break.🤷‍♀️

First, you need to understand: what is the source of stress? Your further actions will largely depend on this.

If poker is a source of stress, then what exactly is in poker?
If you invest money in the game, but lose, then start playing only freerolls - the absence of fear of losing your own money, as well as the opportunity to win without your own investments, can positively affect your emotional state.
If you can't control the words during the game and are rude to people or vice versa, people are rude to you: turn off the chat. After a while, you will pay more attention to the game of your rivals, instead of spending time on communication, which can also give a positive result.
If you are tired of many hours of tournaments, try to find the optimal type of game for you in terms of time.
If you mostly feel bad (emotionally), then ask yourself: why are you playing? What good, positive things do you get from playing poker? Put it all together.

When you understand what you like about this game and why you play, then try to create the most comfortable conditions for this.
For example, playing in tournaments from Cardschat, you will increasingly play with the same people. Such an atmosphere can also have a positive effect on your condition.🌺🌺🌺

After last loosing tournament hands i sometimes have a stress. But not for a long time.
I have a goal. Not small goal. And i really want to achieve it. Maybe in other cases i would leave this idea a long time ago.

No, I never had such problems. Of course, I felt disappointment more than once, but it lasted a few minutes at most. I don't feel stressed because I see poker first and foremost as entertainment, and besides, I always keep an eye on my bankroll management.

I've already stopped to play poker because of stress from other things (like my job), but also stress from poker, specially after days playing long sessions.

I step away frequently when I am taking bad beat after bad beat. It really helps refocus your mind. But, I also have punching bags near my computer that I express my frustrations on often too. LOL

I understand the break, but stress is only treated with knowledge and confidence. A break is merely avoiding the actual issue and I would be surprised if poker was the only thing in your life causing stress. However, If you knew what you were doing, then you wouldn't be stressed and that's just my opinion.

Breaks are good though if you do something useful with them. Even disconnecting can be useful. Just don't replace poker stress with other stress, break the whole stress.

The only real solution is to face your problems, rather than run away. So, learn, study, practice, make sense of the numbers, maybe read about psychology and narrow down what's going on in your head and then look for solutions to treat it or control it.

I was really stressed when I started and during the breaks I took, I studied the hell out of everything I could find, not only poker, but to understand my "why?" questions.

You have to go to a specialist for stress, you don't get better if you take a break from poker

I don’t know, I simplified everything in this question) The mood to win & crush the fields - you sit down to play poker, the mood of a cactus & a sour face - don’t even think about poker) Something like that in my paradigm

Hi.
Poker brings me nothing but pleasure. I have never felt stressed by poker. If poker is stressing you out, you're probably playing with money you can't afford to lose.
Good luck.

Yes, I had previously stopped playing poker for about two months, as this happened at the beginning of my obsession and passion for the game, and the reason was that i became addicted to it to the point that I did not sleep at night, I played from 18 to 20 hours a day for about a year in several poker rooms, and I This affected my health and my mood terribly, as my family noticed this and accused me of using drugs😔

I used to feel that but now its pretty rare, with the understanding of the core game of poker I was able to overcome this, of course I still get a little tilted from time to time but not to the point of having to stop playing poker for a while

Previously, there was stress, if you can call it that, after which I left poker for a year. Now I do not feel much disappointment from defeat, I perceive it easier. After all, the game is not over yet.

Yes brother, I think that there is a moment of saturation for everyone here when you feel that your performances are going down, due to the accumulated stress from the external reasons, outside of poker and from the unsuccessful bad luck games over a time of period.

I think It is normal for everyone to take a break at some point, to recharge your batteries both physically and mentally and to return to the game with fresh forces.

What important aspects have I been able to gather throughout my experience in the game of poker is that we must know how to keep the balance between two important elements:
- excessive level of play, which leads to saturation, low performances, quick and bad decisions, low level of patience, increased level of irritation and frustration against the annoying players which are never missing from a poker tournament, etc.
- optimal level of play, wich leads to increased enthusiasm for the game, more calculated and good decisions, high level of patience, indifference to annoying players and seeking to eliminate them by acting carefully at certain opportune moments in the game, etc.

But that is only my way of thinking and doing things, I am always happy and open to read some other oppinions too about poker, this being one of the reasons why I love CardChat community, sharing thoughts with others.

All the best! (y)

I'm feeling stressed today. 😱
But it is no longer connected with poker itself, but with the burden of responsibility that I feel because of today's game (fear of letting my team down). 😬
Will there be a break after that? Of course not🤩: I'm going to show my best game!🥳🥳🥳
