not to kick you when you're down (although you shouldn't be too down, 2k is a nice score), but:

zachvac said:
lol that was definitely not a resteal, it was a "my M is <3 and this is the best hand I've seen in quite a while and I really need a double up." Figured it was decent against his range as well.

i think K-rag doesn't do too decently against his range, actually. maybe slightly better than A-rag. the guy had raised i think once in the 20 or so hands he'd been at the table, and he showed down AK. he also was not in a steal position, and he was getting 2.5:1 on a call

ask yourself if you would've pushed it if you weren't suited. you probably wouldn't have even considered it. yet the 4% added equity, and you push it? i'm pretty certain you'd have been better off pushing any 2 the next chance you got to open..

gg though sir

I think it was more than 4 spots, I thought it was 17 to the next pay bump.

Right, it was to the point where I didn't feel I could fold to the next level, and that if I could it would destroy any chance at all of making the huge money. Figured I'd hope for a 60/40, and that it was possible I was even a favorite since he had a decent stack and had raised a few times before. Obviously not a ton of hands to go by anyway, but I figure hopefully it's Ax if he does have a hand and even the JJ I was only like a 70/30 dog. Ah well, shit happens, still just kinda in shock at winning that much lol. Definitely not disappointed.

You're probably right, but I can guarantee you I would have pushed K2o there as well. As mentioned, my M was literally <3. Maybe I was just a bit desperate and a fold would have been better, but I was not pushing this because "omg they were sooted", more like "haven't gotten anything above a T in forever, my M is <3, PUSH".

Way to go Zach. THat's a pretty unbelievable score man, $2200 for basically what amounts to a freeroll ... unreal. What a run. Amazing job. You should really feel proud of what you have accomplished.

Well, got a baseball game next Sunday, so not next Sunday. I'll probably end up giving this another shot some time down the road, but tbh it actually wasn't a lot of fun, other than the super amount of adrenaline, the money, and being railed by like all of CC :). It just wore me out and I just enjoy playing cash more.

That is exactly why I love tournaments, especially the CC part.....whats money when you got all the support you can get!

Well you're definitely right, and thanks to all who railed, but it's the crazy swings that are tough. My A8 > AK literally won me $1500. At least this time I didn't get sucked out on but just the high stakes coin flips that take so many times to even out just would kill me. Plus there's extremely little strategy after the first few hours. There's just absolutely no room to maneuver, and it got to the point where a min-raise would pot commit me. So yes the money was nice, the amount of people railing was great, but sitting here for hours and hours making moves that are only slightly better than the average player (because since as I said there wasn't much strategy, the mistakes are smaller, stacking with TP is no longer a mistake, etc.). Just sick variance, and I'll take cash games any day.

I'm not a MTT fan, as sitting for six+ hours seems like a real drain.

Attaching a screencap I took but hadn't posted yet.
Pesky fish hooks!

I understand, I think your right with the variance, and tbh you could be the best player in the world but to win you need a lot of luck to win this..

Well technically I bought in with fpps, and the value had I redeemed them with the $650 for 50k fpps bonus was $75.50, so my person ROI was 1193% while my ROI that'll show up on like OPR and such (I can only assume) was 955%. Completely sustainable imo :).

Congrats Zach, great cash! Isn't it about time a CCer took down a big MTT?

(Note: I'll give a big, bold, pink custom title to whoever achieves this first ;))

Has anyone sharkscope'd the final 4?

Is it as unbelievable as I think it is?

2 have negative total profit, 2 have negative ROI, 2 are on "Tilt", one has only 3 games... I feel like I'm looking at the top 4 of a 1.75 SnG....
