My understanding of the maths of tournaments is that doubling up doubles your chance of winning. Obviously there's dead money in the middle so 'doubling up' involves getting more than twice as many chips, but still - have I misunderstood the concept?

Great game Zach! Joe and I took the laptop to bed and watched til the end. We were tired but wanted to see it out with you.

Over 14,000 played - you can be very proud of your finish. Not many of us made over $2000 yesterday lol. Well okay - probably not any of us except you.

Hopefully this proves why I was really encouraging most people to play, specifically those that had the VPPs to simply use those to buy in without even affecting their bankroll. Awesome job to Zach (obviously) ... who else played? Anyone else cash?

Great job Zach, I was tempted to re-deposit on Stars and have a lash at one of these tournaments but after seeing the payout structure for this one I don't think i'll bother. A payout to just under 15% of the total players is stretching the cash out too thin. 10% should be the norm which would have meant around 1400 players cash. The winner got a tad over 10% so why payout 15% of the field ? The site made more money than 2nd place in fees which seems harsh.
