It would be strange if luck was evenly distributed all the time.

It will come LOOOOOOONG downswings and hopefully also long upswings.

But the truth is that in a game where luck is involved the time of a normal poker career is not enough time to give everyone the same outcome (even if they have equal skill).

Just look at people who win several big MTTs in a short period of time. It's not always the best players.

You're talking about days, I'm saying I have half a year😃but I know I'll always end up where I've been before.(I want to specify that I had completely different priorities, but poker is still poker and I will be back)

Your 'luck' on any particular day can be anywhere from very bad to very good.
You will have as many bad days as good days, it's just that you are more aware of the bad days because of the pain associated with them.

It's very ugly when that happens, I think that when you do badly after a hand or you lose in a strange way, your mood changes and consequently your gameplay changes.

Yes, I have wild days where I can't even double my stack in every tournament. It happened recently (last Thursday). But I don't get upset because I realize that sooner or later luck will be my friend again.

No, not at all. In my average day 99% of things go my way and I'm a big winner in life. The other 1% usually involves poker. So why do I continue to do the one thing that works against me? Balance of course.

Sure, it is against you. Play two hours grinding, and wind up body slammed by a runner runner four of a kind, while you're all in, helpless. Good news is: there is always a new game, a new deal, new cards, don't focus on past failure. Everybody who ignores the chance of failure vs. Success will hopefully look at the game long-term: you might win, enjoy it. But when you lose, accept it as part of the game. Hope you get on a good, long run, sounds like you are overdue

I think this is just a losing mindset...., you're not the center of the universe, everything isn't against you or for you,

you're just a cog in the wheel just like the rest of us, not everything is always going to go your way,

the question is what are you gonna do about it. .... once you figure that out the bad runs don't matter😎👍

We all have bad days. There are periods of growth and periods of decline. Our life, our history, everything repeats because everything has its cycles. The main thing in such difficult times is to be disciplined and stay within your limits.

There are days when it's better to take a break, and that's okay. If you take the game seriously, if you are patient and disciplined, even your most unlucky days will not be able to cause you serious harm. If you are unlucky today, maybe tomorrow will be your day.

For me it is 3 good days in a month and the other 28 days are down days. So I know to lose less in those 28 down days than the amount I win on the 3 good days a month.

But how can you know in advance and guess which of the 31 days will be the good 3 days?
Do you already have an idea in the morning what the upcoming poker day will be like?
