I was all-in with jacks last night, short stacked against the blind. He called with A5 and rivered a straight. When I have the ace, the jacks hold up.

Two jacks is better than two tens unless the river hits another 10.

Well, I guess it is all relative... Every pair in poker has its bad day... My kings are offended... They lost this evening on an all in battle in the 100 $ PS freeroll... They lost against a pair of aces... Because one ace connected for a flush and beat my king who also connected for a flush... So, jacks are OK... Not really the worst pair in poker.

This is just selective memory, JJ is one of the premium cards in poker, but like AA you won't always win, especially when playing with the highest cards, which will usually be a flip.

often you hear stories from mostly beginnering players that they find JJ hard to play.If u keep in my mind that they are JJ and not AA or KK its a very good hand that mustnt be overplayed.Dont play slow and wait for 3 players to call the raise u also just called.u ll find urself in big trouble.Best to be heads up

That jacks and aces with any pair can be won and lost accordingly No one is safe from chance.

Yes, JJ is not such a strong hand, just someone overestimates it because of this, loses goes to All-in and loses to the middle hand like KQ and then says that the hand is bad, it's just that the hand is afraid of older hands and all you need to play it right with this hand

No matter what, pocket Jacks is as good hand as any other, much depends on how it is played. For me it's certainly not an all in hand preflop

I've also heard that a pair of jacks is the worst card in poker. However, when I have a pair of jacks, it seems that I always win. Just yesterday I hit four jacks on the flop and won a very big pot. I also hit a set with jacks very often. Of course, I also lose with them, but it seems to me that it's just some kind of superstition that a pair of jacks is the worst hand in poker. The worst hand is the hand with which you lose the hand and a lot of money, and then it doesn't matter if you have a pair of jacks or a pair of aces if your opponent has a straight or just a combination that beats you with the last card)

My opinion is that this pair is only 3BB on the preflop, and on the flop it is already obvious that big problems can easily arise with them.

JJ's are a troubling hand at best that's not to say i wouldn't play them but carefully :sneaky: and see what comes out. Hopefully no one push's all in so you can see a flop. That's my opinion on is hand good luck and have fun!!

I don't like AA if I go with her all in then I lose 70%

I think that a pair of jacks is considered the worst pair only by those players who lack experience and skill :)

Well, of course she is not the worst, rather with a couple of JJ you can often get into a situation in which you will need to make difficult decisions.

There are many stories with this couple) When they give a couple of twos or sevens, it's easier for me to go all-in than with jacks
