Tournaments. I seem to always get way up in cash games then lose it all in a couple close hands. I need to learn to cash out once I get to a certain amount.

I prefer tournaments. I do not play cash games because they have always been unprofitable for me.

I prefer tournaments, however I would like to transition over to cash games. Every time I try, no matter the stakes I loose my deposit. Can anyone recommend a good read or instruction on how to transition over to small stakes online cash games.

Mtts or cash

Good morning everyone.
Tournaments or cash tables?
I like to play both.
That's a great question and I believe that cash tables are a fairer game, I'm taking bad bets very often at pokerstars, I'm being thrilled with hand tournaments:
QQ vs 68s, All in preflop and villain call 68s, and flush.
AKo vs 84s, I went All in preflop and villain call, and flush.
AA vs Q4o, beats 4 4 Q Q 5, an impossible probability.
I'm going all in, with hands that I'm dominating the villain and flop full, I'm getting knocked out of tournaments by taking bad bets very often.
At real money tables, because it's a very deep game, you don't have to go All in preflop, because you don't get short stack, and you can flip, turn and river.
The amount of bad bets that happen on pokerstars is absurd, it seems like software, it chooses who will win regardless of the cards, so you see weaker hands often winning, repair a player has an AK and loses to a weaker hand, On the next hand another player also wins with a non-favorite preflop hand and this pattern holds throughout the tournament and most of the time the weaker hands win, I said mostly, which goes against the odds of the game itself. Poker
If you agree or disagree, please leave your comment.

I play both. Mostly cash because of time constraints. I like tournaments but can’t reserve 6-8 hours or longer to play these. I play mostly live but found that it’s more convenient to play tournaments online than live. I can do other things and take multi breaks from home. It’s really the last part of the tournament have to pay more attention in the game

Playing mostly cash as I only have a few hours to play poker
I play tournaments and enjoy them too and gone deep but I find that it’s exhausting to play for 6-8 hours especially if I worked the day and it ends late at night and I have get up to work the next morning. Then I really can not play poker for few days to recover.
Best time I would play tournaments if I have entire day off. When I do have a day off I rather just play for 2-3 hours cash and then do other things.
Tournament play is rare for me If I do get the itch to play Then online is much better than live as I can save time and doing other things at home during my breaks.

Eu prefiro os torneios, a sensação de estar perto do ITM e depois o FT é muito bom.

Each format favors different personalities, I think. I prefer tournaments because it has a clear start and end and there's always a way to see how well you're doing at a specific moment. In cash I never really know when to stop so I end up donating my whole stack.

usually i do a lot better in cash games than tournaments, but i like tourney better. i think its because of the challenge of competing with thousands of people.

My bank roll management says: max buy-in = 0
Therefore I only play tournaments (freerolls), as there are no free cash games
