Can the weather affect your game ?!

The rain outside does not affect how I play online poker. It doesn't affect me because I am playing at home. I just close the curtains and pretend that it's not raining. Then I turn on loud music to help me focus.

My opinion

The weather doesn't really effect my game. This is probably because I live in a boarding home with no window near by. I really don't get a look as to what is outside until I go for a smoke.

It's scientifically proven that weather can affect on a person well being and that can affect his mind state aswell, but at the end I think it's related to the person himself if he can concentrate just in the game despite his surrounding and conditions.

Yes it does effect. In winters I feel sleepy and can't play long tournaments just because of sleeping.

Boy some people would use anything as an excuse for the reason they do not do well playing a poker game. Weather has nothing to do with the outcome of the card game. It depends on the skill of the player, and the luck of the cards especially when playing against crazy all inners.

Yes. Sometimes i travel to visit my father and connection is bad there.. I try not to play a lot on that town..

And the light turn off every time it rains, its impossible..

But in my main city i dont have problems with that

Maybe intense phenomena can ruin the game, but light things I don't think change anything.

I think it is just the opposite for me. When the weather is gloomy or its raining outside I play much better. I have nowhere else to go and don't want to be outside anyways. When it's nice and sunny, if I am playing I look out and just want to go out and do something more enjoyable for the fun. My biggest passion is fishing, so if the conditions are there, and I realize it during a game, I might just say forget this and become more aggressive just to get it over with. Now that may change if I am a bigger money game at the time as well.

I play at night with the curtains closed and often do not even see what the weather is outside. So I'm inclined to believe that my game doesn't depend on the weather or the moon. As someone wrote earlier my game may be affected by a power line break caused by bad weather

Weather is just very good excuse why I cant go outside so I will play a lot

but it never affect my play. But if weather is something like lots of big juicy snowflakes dancing outside it can affect me positively

I guess we can say yes, it does affect your game.. but it's not an exact math! I mean, I feel real good when it's warm, sunny.. so generally I feel better to do anything than when it's cold and cloudy you know?!?! But then again, it's all a matter of preference! I know ppl who prefer cold instead.. and that's ok

When the weather is good outside and I'm playing a tournament it gets in the way. But when it is raining and cold, then nothing distracts.

As I live in a country where the electrical system is still very precarious since the wiring is aerial, I must consider an adverse climate when playing, since many times the bad weather conditions end up generating a power outage or internet service

it's psychological...

I think it is a psychological thing, since being on a sunny day feels more alive and with more confidence, but being on a cloudy day would be a dull day with no desire perhaps, but all that should not affect. Many things could be done to do nothing to affect the game ... greetings !!!
