Gambling Addiction

People can always blacklist themselves but that only goes so far. If I blacklisted myself in the state of Colorado then I could easily just go over to Kansas and gamble. Or find other ways to gamble. The best thing is to get your family involved. I think I saw someone post that as well.

As someone who counsels people with such issues..there is no weaning off..it has to be cold turkey and you have to accept you have a problem.
After this..you work on the triggers, what makes you gamble, recognising the signs, the ways you manipulate people or yourself and people you are dependent on..then piece by piece you work on those things before devising a agreement with targets to manage day by day to stop....

get professional help a psycholgist, addictions are often related to other unfulfilled ambitions rather than just the pursuit of money. The buzz creates a happiness to hide other life problems and pains.
also in UK where i am you can ban yourself form all betting places.
but mostly get professional help and talk.
