What is the Best Way to Build a Small Bankroll

What is the best way to build a bankroll from $10? Should I stick with the low-stakes cash games (01/02 or 02/05), play low stakes sit-n-goes, or try to find some tournaments with $1 or $2 buy-ins? If you want to vote in my twitter poll, click on my twitter link below.

everything depends on the budget, preference between 'tournaments and cash tables' and most importantly the experience

since we do not all think the same

but I personally say that the best probability is in cash tables playing aggressive

or play in the tournaments and just wait to get to the bubble and achieve a lot without risking so much

Well, this always works for me : 10$ = 20x0.50$ buy ins. So I play the 0.50$ sit n'gos mostly 6players and 9players. I play the 90 players sometimes too.If you are on 888poker, you have the 0.40$ buy in sit n'gos.

But you have to be methodical and patient. You can multitable if you're convinced that you have some edge on this limit.

I would say play low buyin tournaments and try to build your bankroll from there. Cash games are hard to build up a bankroll.

I would agree that it does come down to personal preference. Try and practice a few freeroll tournaments and if you can place in the money and around the top 20 then tournaments may be your best course to take but grinding at the regular tables can be just as profitable.

I recommend you start to play from 0.25$ SnG 45-max(not turbo) on PokerStars, then when your bankroll grows up to 30$ or 50$ you may try 1$ SnG 45-max(not turbo). In case if you beat this fields, try to play MTT for 0.55$ with bankroll not less 100$.

For me I would try to find low buy-in/low rake STTs and try to work my way up from there.

Lol. With 10 dollars you should play only freerolls and 1-5 cents satellites. Even nl2 is too much for you.

My best was back n the day when pokerstars was available to usa, I deposited 10bucks and play a tourney and won 1k . pretty nice I was very happy.
I wasn't grinding though just had a good run

I did it from 11USD. 1$ spins and 1$ ko's. Didn't go above, didn't play cash games until 100 bucks. I fell to 5 and dropped to a few 25c spins, no ko's.

Of course I withdrew 50% and donked up 25% teating stuff and bad luck burned through the rest.

Let's face it, you have no chance to raise it from $ 10, it's impossible, especially on pokerstars, I do not want to make it simple, but so in cash games put the cards for that rake the way it is the bigger pot gets the more rake. I'm squeezed out of the cash game on pokerstars, believe me like that.

The best way to build your bankroll is to play in Sit & Go 0,25-50 cents, for 18-45 people, so there will be more chances to reach the bank

I think the best way to build bankroll from 10$ is to play patiently SnG 0.10$ (360 players) and $0.25 (45 and 90 players) 10$ is enough to build a bankroll by playing these SnG games. I think you need to have a lot more money to play cash games and it's much more risky,

On ACR, play the .10 $100 GTD MTT and the .10 $75 GTD MTT. I wouldn't play MTTs that are .25 bc your risk of ruin is too high.

I would try the Zoom 0.01/0.02 cash games, even with the 5 buy-ins you have. (Or you try it with 10x$1 stacks). Because the players are relatively weak and you can have success with your 5 x $2 stacks. If you are a decent player, you dont stack off so easily, but your opponents will donate their stacks to you with their top pairs (or worse), when you have the set.

Satellite tournaments always a good choise. I like tournaments of 0.55 too (with late registration). How 10 dollares is a small bankroll remember, don't give up if you lose.

I don't recommend knockout and spin and go (pokerstars).

I believe that one of the best ways to increase your bankroll with 10 dollars is to play satellites in bounty bilder tournaments, especially this is profitable on Saturday because the Saturday versions of the bounty builder are much more profitable

Top reply! Put all your winnings there!!!
In general you should count half of the money for investigating and gaining information on the Tournament (s) or SnG's, you choose to play, until you start to WIN FREQUENTLY THERE, so you should really better make 100 buy-ins of your tournament instead of 10 out of 10$, And keep looking out for nice value offers like above!!!
