What clothes do you wear playing poker?

Hi guys. I was just whizzing through social media and saw a variety of images and videos of people playing poker, both live and online, and I got to wondering whether any of you guys had your very own standards of what to wear when you play poker........ both live and online.

Do you dress for the event?

Do you wear poker themed clothing? I.e. do you wear you CardsChat merchandise clothing, or some other favourite item of clothing that you think brings you luck or makes you feel part of the event, or gets you into the mood or frame of mind to play poker?

I guess it’s more interesting to know what you do when you play online as generally you will be in the privacy of your own home!

Its depending, in casinos its recommended to wear a suit. But in general for a beginner I would advice to alwayswear sunglasses to minimize easy reads...

ive gone to casoinos in shorts - jeans - dressed up - its different depending on where your playing you have to dress up for that occassiion.

During the cold days, I am wearing a CC hoodie - I have a red one and a black one.
But now it is summer and hot in here, so just boxers

I have also a CC T-shirt but did not had an occasion to wear it until now ...

Hi. I play mostly online. Because I'm at home I can't be dressed for this. [emoji846] live with friends and relatives. Neither do I dress them.

When playing online, I dress very comfortably. short pants and a comfortable shirt. When I play live, I dress like a party

I don't have certain clothes to wear when I play. But I do dress to be comfortable or depending of the weather.

I love the home environment so I can play poker more comfortably. I'm not going to a live tournament but at home I do everything for convenience. If I had a live tournament then I would definitely wear advertisements if I paid for it or supported it.

Simple, comfortable clothing, not conspicuous. Shorts and t-shirt. Not to think and not be distracted by the fact that you have something itches, pulls, presses.

I've had people comment at the table about what I was wearing and how it effected their decisions so while it is probably not super significant it CAN matter to some. It goes along with game play and over all style but certain players in a suit with a nice watch and splashy game play will be perceived as more of a whale / maniac / calling station than someone who looks like they may be playing with their rent money in older or dingy casual attire while not seeing many flops. You can also see the opposite though of some guy walking in looking like a bum but in a rush to get all their chips in the middle to get rich quick or die trying. Long story short, in a game of incomplete information SOME people will look for anything to help make a tough decision at the tables. Being aware of how you are perceived is probably worth consideration even when it comes to what you're wearing that day.
