What do you Listen to while you play Poker?

when am on fire... and having a super game... I like to listen to Trance/Techno music... to keep that energy going...

if things are going ok, kind of chill and slow... then I listen to some 80s music...

When I play I am usually watching TV so I don't listen to anything. If it during tourney time then I like to listen to rounders radio. They play alot of good stuff on there.

Tonight it's hip hop, though depending on mood it can also be psytrance. Or commercial dance. Or black and death metal - that can actually be quite soothing.

but in final table in tournament my music it is in off.

I listen to my wife, which tell me that I sit over three hours on the PC and now I have stop to play. That is that what I listen when I play poker. I think to hear music is better then a crying wife. Or not?

well alot of the time i dont listen to music while im playing but if i am drinking then it is defitnely music blaring-disturbed-hinder-chevelle etc.

I think that was created a myth that is necessary listen music to play poker.... definitely I prefer no listen anything, when I m playing play poker...

It's all about the classic rock and the slower hiphop. It just depends on the mood I'm in or I might change during a tournament depending on my stack and if Im playing aggressive or conservative.

I think music can have a huge impact on your playing style. I'm looking to experiment more on music and how it affects my play; specifically, my table aggression.

I've found that when multi-tabling, I like speed metal. Dethklok has been my band of choice in the past. Dragonforce is also good for that. Alternately, industrial-type metal like Killing Joke is good.

Lately, I've been listening to nothing but classical music, and I've been on my biggest heater since I started. (coincidence?) I think it keeps me calm, keeps my aggression in check, and facilitates big laydowns.

most of the time im just watching tv. sometimes i dont even have that on i get distracted easily and want to be able to focus 100% on my game so i will just sit and suft the internet while in between hands.

rock-killswitch engage, slipknot, korn, nonpoint, mudvayne

techno-gms, tiesto, dj micro, infected mushrooms, astrix.

sometimes just watch a movie while waiting for hands.

I usually listen to some music that has a badass beat to it, like Rap or Rock. Lately I've started watching TV shows on youtube such as seinfeld and for some reason I tend to play better and slower when I watch something in the background. Perhaps I don't concentrate as hard enough and play more loosely (normally I'm a really tight player). Watching the wsop Main Event or other such tournaments online really helps me get in the mood to play some winning poker.
