What do you prefer, play poker online or live?

I like to play live poker a lot but unfortunately due to the pandemic we got used to playing online. But I always prefer to play live.

I definitely prefer playing live, though the reason I started playing online four years ago was to improve my skills...and it worked.

Poker however is a social game and live is what provides that experience by allowing you to interact with other people. After awhile you get to know your opponents and find that they are mostly nice people and add enjoyment to the game. I love the feel of the chips in my hand and the sounds that go along with tossing them into the pot, and the feel of the cards as you lift them slightly to view their value. There is also no feeling like winning a big hand and then pulling in your winnings and stacking them up. It is all a fantastic experience! ❤️

Well playing poker online is the only way to go for me. It is just so much easier than haveing to go to a live poker room.

I like to play live poker more then online poker . Usually I play with my friends , like a homegame , drinking beers and having fun .
Online poker I play for grinding , because I can play more tables at once , but if i want to have a good time I will definitely chose live poker .

If online poker didn't exist, gambling would bypass me. I would not spend my money in gambling establishments. And now I'm not going to start a live game. But of course a live game is probably much more interesting, it's just not for me.

I always looked forward to my weekly live league game, It was only £5.00 for the buy-in and there was usually 2 or 3 tables going depending on the turn out, but the main reason was the higher you finished in the league the more chance you had of playing in a quarterly final at a real Casino playing against over 150+ other players all wanting to be number one and winning a trip to Las Vegas.
I came so close one year and called an all-in from my opponent heads up holding KQ of Hearts after a flop of AKQ, unfortunately he was holding Pocket Kings and took the win.
Since the Pandemic Panic I have not played in a live game and although restrictions have been lifted, I myself have contracted Covid and still feel wary of venturing out to the Pub, So basically on-line games have been my only option. Unfortunately I played so much on-line, playing several games every day I reached a point where I burned out and have not played now for over a year.
I still pop in here to see what is happening but not played any CC freerolls in a long time, I hope that reading some of the comments on different topics here in CC will reawaken my passion for the game.

I love both! Online there are so many varieties and u can play at every time. Live is also nice because of connecting with people, reading other players havr fun...

Well... in my case I love playing online poker... it's faster and you can play several tables at the same time... however it's clear that playing live poker generates an adrenaline rush that you'd never feel in live poker line...

I mostly play online, but I'm always thinking about playing a bigger live tournament, one with a big pot. I promised myself to try to win a ticket to one of the tournaments in Europe, before my health condition did not allow me to travel. As a hobby player, I need to feel this atmosphere of playing in a big tournament, not just playing with my friends live.

Sometimes my friends and I are going to play poker. So definitely I would rather play live than online!!!

Live, it is a far better experience. You will be much more focused for longer, make less mistake's and be able to get better tells on others.

I love playing online ONLY. I can relax more, wear what I want In my own home. It’s more convenient and less cost for travel. Plus I get really nervous in live tournaments, maybe one day I feel more confident during live play, that is if I ever play live

I prefer online, because I can play faster, multitabling and using only my underpants, lol. I can do some other things while playing, like cooking, taking a shower, and others.
