Impunity generates rudeness on the online poker tables. I`m sure, that in offline poker the most part of rude fellows in online behave themselves calm and well-mannered.

Players have rude behaviors are not normal, except direct to you, it's no harm online.
If you got opportunity knock them out is the best way.
If you do not have opportunity knock them out, watch it as monkey show is the other way.

I think they have control issues. And seriously, if i ever find myself swearing at the table i will quit, i don't get those kind of guys, if poker gets you so frustrated and anger, you are not only losing sense for people but for game as well. Where's the thrill in that...

I don't care about people using bad words , as long as they don't insult others ratialy , sexually , like a crazy Austrian did some weeks ago insulting on my tables some players as Jews d*** for Ausvisch and similar facist craziness . I sent a letter to pokerstares and chat action was taken .

I think is a problem seriously, today I find two players like this, one from Germany and another one from Mexico. I decide to report to PokerStars cause they were being racist and xenophobic

If someone doesn't know to control they felling on the table they probably shouldn't playing poker.

I never offend anyone cause they bad beat me.
I think this is very childlike behavior

Those who do this are not poker players, they just want to disrupt who really love the game. So we have to work the psychological for these delinquents.

I consider it as trash talking and I find it amusing. And it's a good practice to deal with this kind of distraction.

I do not pay attention to that. If a person is easier after a scribbling then let them be freed from anger.

Agreed. I too tend to ignore the chat feature as most people that do use it, do so just to spew negativity. Too much of that in the online world.

Don't let it bother me. Someone playing in anger is most likely going to make more mistakes.

I have a friend does not play poker but in FB will make comments to see if he can get a rise of out people. Whether he believes what he is saying or not. if you are not aware of this ploy in poker you are going to be on the defensive quite a bit so if it bothers you its pretty easy to simply turn off chat.[/QUOTE]

That was me growing up or down as the case may be.
I love satire and off handed remarks like someone gets a boat
and I reply, so so, fair, passable..etc. mostly with a smile of some sort.

Abuse of another player is something I can't stay out of cause I'm good
at quelling the problem because bad behavior is against the whole table
who has to read their rantings and ravings. I'm not one to block out a
rude abnoxious bully. I like the idea for some language if just untorable
and should be reported with the game number and time to the site. Usually
that takes care of them for at least 30 days.

A favorite ranter/bully remark is , Hey ____, you have your whole
life to be a a jerk (whatever), how about taking a day off ;-).
When I get them distracted I will usually have em settled in a few minutes.

When you pay my entry you can tell me how to play.

I look forward to your theory on poker to come out in paperback,
like 1 sheet should do. These usually put the bully off guard and
allows me to mess with em, ain't poker fun...hehe.

Namaste...jim

Foul language isn't a problem unless it's directed as an insult. Insults get me off my A game while foul language doesn't affect me.
