I just read an article on Eduardo Pires winning the Millionaire Maker wsop event.

The guy is an entrepreneur and plays high stakes recreationally (of course, I believe he has a ton of experience and contacts as well).

This story makes me learn and get as good as possible, even if im just playing for fun.

I think of stakes as levels, and I need to beat the field in order to advance! lets see!

I play because I love the game - provides lots of intensity and enjoyment while keeping the mind active. But playing as a hobby only with success measured by improving and continuing to enjoy. I like playing for poker trips as well (when covid19 lessens) - added excitement.

The cool thing is to combine the fun with an extra gain, like a football player who wins to play...

Win enough to bankroll a large high entry tournament, having a blast so far. First live cash tournament on Thursday the 19th, a little nervous but it'll be a good and hopefully profitable learning experience.
