So after playing for 4 weeks of wsop tournaments and busting from the Main event what do you do if your Phil Ivey???? Well like Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negraneu and Eric Seidel you buy in to the Bellagio Cup VI for $10,300 on day 3 of the tournament yes thats correct day 3 start with 40k and these guys bought in late. registration was open until day 3 at 1:30 vegas time. Oh and by the way Phil Ivey is at a WPT final table for a record 9th time annd currently is sitting 2nd out of 4 left. The blind whe they bought in were at 1200/2400.

The guys incredible. He buys in on day three with less than 40 blinds and is now in second chip position. I wonder how intimidating it is sitting at a table with him...One day.

Great run by Phil. All the other guys that bought in on day 3 fizzled out pretty quickly. He is one of a kind.

I was watching him play in the $1500 Stud H/L tourney at the WSOP this year. He's interesting to watch in person. His eyes really do go back and forth a ton, like he some kind of computer or robot.

Phil Ivey is a great player Forsakenone

No disrespect Forsakenone, but if you think Phil Ivey is sorry and only depend on luck than you haven't been watching Ivey play poker. Or you believe the game is more luck then skills. Funny how you could even say such a thing. The majority of the poker pro believed Ivey to be the best all aorund player as of right. Study him and you will see that he plays in a different level, it like he has a six sense.

Yep, he's a super hero. He was hit by an exploding card while Gambit swung in to save the Taj Mahal from the Juggernaut, and Professor X used his powers to create a protective bubble around him and Beast went inside and stabilized him. Once they got back to the school for mutants they injected him with bubbling green ooze. After his recovery he discovered he could read minds, do medicine, and make cards explode. It's also rumored that when you piss him off he becomes giant and green and smashes things.

It's called wikipedia, use it.

I like the guy, but I don't need to draw supernatural conclusions. He's an excellent card player, and he's been playing a long time making a lot of money. He's my second favorite, my first being myself, because if you're not your own favorite at (almost) everything, you have self esteem issues. Or your worthless.

Hey ckickenking,

I think Forsakenone was joking. You copied his statement, but neglected to add the important 'smiley face' which should imply a joke on his part.

Please tell me I'm correct here Forsakenone!

Ya think? I'd have to strongly disagree. I am definitely not my fav. poker player & for sure don't believe that I am worthless.
