What kind of atmosphere is needed to play poker

Don't know for others but personally I was convinced to play effectively need to isolate myself from almost everyone and everything.My situation is this-the son of privoja first grader from school and half a day doing lessons / curriculum today-the madhouse/. and in the process of learning I'm trying to play-but it is unreal-he always asks,cranky ...and the result is distracting and I make a lot of mistakes-the hassle and not the game. And how do You play?

best to play in quiet place and no distractions.. but it's not really possible especially when playing live

To play poker you need not disturb focus on poker and when someone is distracting you're not already too distracted and doing mistakes and they will be felt on your declining stack

It depends on what games I'm playing. When I play cash games I really need to focus, so I like it quiet with some mellow music. When I play turbo MTT/SNGs I play better when I zone out a bit, so I like having a TV show or Twitch stream playing on my 2nd monitor.

I personally don't care what the atmosphere is I just need a deck of cards and a stack of chips and I'm ready to play. I'm over 1/2 deaf so noise is not that big an issue to me.

having small kids n babies can be the biggest distraction in poker.. but again they are the most beautiful thing in life as well.. so dont get serius , n have fun with kids n family.. poker ll be there always

I think today all environments that I play are good environments to ultimately play the clubs are investing more in infrastructure and comfort for players to have a good time in at their clubs. And in the online issue that normally play at home the best environment and that no noise and quiet

my opinion is that if you have some slow music is good to think, if you can not have this then just silence so you can focus

I've always found that 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and a smattering of noble gasses works best for me.

Depends on what kind of person you are some like to be isolated and play in a still place but there are others like me aswell. I love to hear music or have something going on otherwise i cant keep my attention up for long sessions
