For me, it's when I realize very early in the hand that my cards probably aren't good enough, but I still insist on playing the hand anyway. Sometimes I convince myself that something might happen on the turn or river, or that I can still win the pot.

Then I end up losing a big part of my stack because I didn't trust my first instinct and didn't fold when I should have. That's probably one of the most frustrating things for me, because deep down I usually know I should have let the hand go.

What about you? What is the thing that frustrates you the most when you're playing poker?

I often make impulsive calls without taking the time to think, whereas when I do take the time to reflect, I almost always make the right decisions; that is the biggest issue I'm working on.

"For me, the most frustrating thing in poker isn't even a regular bad beat, because variance is just part of the game. What really makes me angry is when a completely reckless player makes an incredibly terrible, illogical call on the flop or turn with zero equity, and then hits their 2-outer on the river. It’s hard to stay calm when bad play gets rewarded. Slow rolling and toxic chat behavior also annoy me, but nothing tests my bankroll and mental control like a runner-runner miracle for a bingo player!"

Play tournaments against Asians, especially Chinese. They gamble every hand, and you never know what to expect.

What makes me angry, when I have a good pair or two pairs, and seeing that there is a probability of ladder or color on the table, the opponent throws himself into the line, I pay out of curiosity, I end up losing all my chips.

It’s about understanding that you won’t always hit big prizes; as the saying goes, you build your bankroll little by little

Interestingly, I actually like recreational players.
The early 2000s were great, back when 80% of people didn't know how to play poker 🙂
It was easy money.
There’s really only one thing in poker that can really get under my skin, and that’s the slowroll.

What frustrates me most is making a bad decision when I know better, especially calling when I’m almost certain I’m beaten. Bad beats are annoying, but giving away chips because I’m tilted bothers me more. I’m getting better at recognizing when things aren’t going well and stopping before one frustrating hand turns into a whole bad session.

Probably when I make the right decision and still lose because of a ridiculous river card 😂
Bad beats are annoying, but tilting because of them is even worse. I try to take a breath, move on and focus on the next hand.

I've reached a level of skill where nothing irritates me at the Poker table, I just accept it, obviously I get stressed outside the game, when I'm stressed I play really badly, so on those days I don't even open a Poker table. When I take a Bad Beat from a bad player, honestly I get "happy", because I know most of the time I'm going to win and I need bad players like that giving me money.

do not let yourself get triggered by bad beats - click that X in the corner.

You will NOT win anything when emotional.

A realy frustrating thing is when any player scores big and emediatly stops playing after that🙁

It makes me more sad than mad, sitter limping is such a bad play, and we see it everyday in CC games.

Its not a complicated theory its the most basic of poker concepts.

I think we’ve all been there. Knowing deep down you’re beat but letting curiosity or hope get the best of you is the ultimate self-inflicted leak. It hurts way worse to lose chips when you knew you should have folded pre-flop or on the flop than it does to get genuinely bad beat

I think about those times when I went all-in, got called by chip leader holding weird cards, and I lost.

For me the biggest trigger is when someone constantly emotes and simultaneously plays everything and very lucky too with superbad calls and all ins.

What irritates me are those players who keep going all in every hand and ending the game

For me, it's those rude and annoying players

What makes me most angry is when I make a mistake. I know many players get upset at bad beats or bad run of cards or bad luck. But for me, if I personally make a mistake, that's what pisses me off, because I want the other players to make mistakes, which cause me the bad beats.

What annoys me is when a weaker hand beats me using just one hole card to make a straight or a flush.
