Good evening, all right?

Anything goes:

Course that never ends, HUD that I never knew how to use properly, Giant monitor. Gamer chair. Mouse "professional” even though it's an amateur. Streamer setup.

What was the investment that seemed like a great idea at the time and today you think: "what's that for?”

GL always...

I never thought about buying anything because of poker; I always thought that if I win free money playing poker, it's because I'm already learning. A person only knows or is learning poker if money suddenly appears in freerolls.

I haven't made any purchases so far. I've spent every penny from poker on something useful.

I used to buy several different decks of cards just for the color or the design they represented, and for the pleasure of owning them. Nowadays I ask myself, "Why?" 😂🤣

For me, it was definitely an expensive HUD package and a bunch of training courses I never fully completed. At the time, I convinced myself that buying more tools would automatically make me a better player. The reality was that I got much more value from reviewing my own hands and fixing basic leaks than from all the fancy software.

Another one was a second monitor. I imagined myself grinding multiple tables like a professional, but most of the time it just became extra space for YouTube, sports scores, or random distractions.

The funny thing is that many poker players fall into the trap of "preparing to become better" instead of actually doing the work. We buy gadgets, software, and courses because it feels productive, but sometimes the biggest improvement comes from studying consistently and playing with focus.

That said, I still don't regret those purchases completely—they taught me an important lesson: no piece of equipment can replace discipline and good decision-making at the tables.

GL at the tables! 🍀♠️♦️♣️♥️

To this day I haven't regretted anything, but I still want the 4k monitor.

Actually, the purchase I made isn't useless, but I haven't taken advantage of it yet. I bought Yuri Dzivielevski's course almost 2 years ago and I still haven't even reached the halfway point.

Scored a new poker table just before Covid broke out. Might get to use it some day. Times change.

The best course I've seen so far is the poker course here at CardsChat. It's free and anyone can take it, plus it includes a practical component with CardsChat freerolls.

I thought that was cool, it's become more of a collection. It reminded me that I don't play live poker and I'd like to start practicing, but I need a deck of cards to begin.
