I think there's also some parallels in life to poker, lessons to be taken. Things like poker teaches you to be assertive, or even when to let things check through. It teaches how to weigh your options, which life decision would be the best outcome, but are the risks worth the pot odds? There are many things that can be taken and applied.

Just a regular hobby, I often play it for a couple of hours. My work won't allow me to consider it as a job, since I don't have that much time to do it

I met poker 9 10 years ago when I was 15 years old I did not imagine that I could continue playing for so long but I learned a lot playing for play money and I realized that it was good, in times of quarantine it has saved my life economically to pay the bills to helped a lot

I like to compete with other players, mental games. In freerolls, everything is more simple or too desperate, players either play too much open or bluff too much. In games at higher limits, opponents are already showing their skills and ingenuity. It's rare to see creativity in its purest form, but this is a great moment when you face your opponent and try to get to know him and his real thoughts.

Poker has been my life for the last 7 years, sure I have a family that I am proud of but now they are independent and raising their own families. It is time I looked after ME! and Poker has given me a new outlook on life, I have made a lot of friends through the game and been to some great casinos.
I always dabbled in the game playing home games and pub games but had never set foot in a Casino until I started playing in the Pub Poker Leagues and winning seats in the Regional and eventually the National Finals.
Now I feel comfortable playing where ever and when ever I want. I even ran a Pub poker game at my local and only gave it up after I reached 65 and officially retired shortly before the first Lock-down.
I may never play in a Casino again due to this horrible Virus but I have returned to Pokerstars and my love for the game has only grown thanks to Cardschat and P.Stars

Since May 2020, poker has turned from being a hobby, so it went from the pandemic to being a profession, it is my job, daily game and to date I have been doing well, I get more than enough money per month for my expenses this new year I have goals that I want to meet to continue growing thanks to poker
