Write three traits of a great poker player

Capable of controlling emotions (not tilting stack off, dealing with money swings and bad beats)
Discipline, being able to fold when a premium hand is beat, adapting to game ( no cards, loose table, being down money and walking away , many more)
Intelligence; being able to learn / improve game. Read table dynamics, and learn strategic poker plays/concepts.

Be photogenic. Speak good English. Get into the team-about any major poker room. Nothing else matters. 😀

1. Patience
2. Patience
3. Patience

There are many ebs and flows in any game of poker wether it be MTT or cash game. I think having patience and the ability to stay on your game no matter the situation and adjust to your opponents is the most important trait for a poker player to have.

1. Strong observational skills (strong reads)
2. Ability to play various styles fluidly adapting to the texture of the game and the villains presented. maybe should be called adaptive ability?
3. Does not play the cards

These are my 3 in exact order:
1. Patience
2. Emotional Stability
3. Observational/adaptation <this is number 4 if we want to get technical.

1. Controlling (emotions)2. Patience
3. Discipline

Patience,Self Discipline and Determination. If i could choose a fourth it would be mindset but that kind of encompasses them all anyway.

I think that this is - the player needs to have - patience - aggression - bluff, but maybe I’m somewhere wrong and there are many more factors for games!

1. Patience
2. The ability to bluff
3. Ability to lose even a high card

technique, good training and especially a lot of discipline are for me the traits of a good player.ma favorite quote from Doyle Brunson. "Luck is what happens when preparation meets the opportunity.

Obsessive, but able to contain the manic tendencies,
Intuitive, but more so logical and analytical,
Good Humored, this game spits out those not tough enough to get chewed up.

- Assessing the quality of decisions by their EV, not their outcome
- Controlled bankroll management
- Ability to use as much information as possible, as efficiently as possible, when making a decision

Well, the most important thing is discipline is of course the second quality is the availability of analytical skills to read opponent's hands and the third is patience

1. control your impulses
2. very analytical
3. lots of patience

Skill

1.Focus, 2.Skill, 3.Skills.

Skill is the most important trump card! Either you can play or you can't!

In no particular order of importance, just the three that came to mind as the first things I try and improve with myself.
