it depends on the situation to be honest, i can go tight aggressive to loose aggressive depending on chip stacks and position/stage of tournament.
Do i play poker for material gain - of course whenever possible but i don't lose the love even when coolered.

Just for cash, if we're talking about online poker. Once upon a time, when I was playing offline poker with my friends in poker clubs, yes, I wanted to be the most successful, I wanted to be valued.

I play for the money. If poker didn't offer cash prizes, I probably wouldn't have started playing. Money is the main motivation for me. And I get special pleasure from the game when I win money.

I play for the glory. As an ex-athlete I miss the competition " the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" and poker allows me this. Winning money is nice of course but willing is what it's about for me.

I play for the money, but at the same time, the game is a great diversion for me, a great pastime. Money is the main motivation for me, without money, poker would not be what it is for me. Poker is a source of income for me.

I started playing for fun, and after a year of playing, I realised that I started playing for money. At first, the motivation was to have a good time, but now the motivation is to make money.

I play for fun more than anything. If I win anything then its a nice bonus, but I'm certainly not at a good enough level to win consistently to be able to rely on the winnings as income.
