Basically, I think everyone plays for money or in the hope of money. The only difference is that someone is a fun player and just having fun with his money/chips, or he plays seriously, develops himself and actually tries to make a living from poker.

I can't say for bragging rights since only a few of my friends know that I play poker, so definitely for cash, but I only play mini tourneys so it's more like for fun, right now I just got 2nd place and won $38.

The stakes are micro, so it's not for the money.
It's mostly for the distraction. Something to keep my mind off worrying.
And of course, I just like the game. On-line poker is like entertainment to me.

I've never played to prove anything to anyone, it's a kind of self-praise. I only play for myself which doesn't stop me from making mistakes, experimenting and always winning to always be able to start another game. The limit still doesn't matter, just the pleasure of being there, of course I still run into a few where I have to sleep at that time .
