Hi everyone i like to ask you what you do if you canot play poker anymore ,possible reasons no enternet ,no money ,pc damage.

I would have to find a new hobby but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
If it was PC damage I would just get a new computer and for me money has nothing to do with it as it is just a hobby.

i have many other hobbies. i would be sad, but it wouldnt affect me much. i'd be worried for those playing pro though!

There are solutions for everything.

Example: Without internet.

No poker no problem. I would play more golf, its easier making money playing poker but money is good at golf also.

It would probably be a good thing for me actually.........I'd finally be forced to complete my CCNA (CISCO Networking). Or just find a new hobby, i'm quite good at adapting to situations.

Don't think that will ever be an option. If my pc is damaged I'll go to the library. If out of money I'll play freerolls. The USA DOJ can't keep a poker player down. I can't wait until Poker Stars comes back to the USA. I'm tired of playing on these less-than-quality sites.

To be honest poker has helped keep me sober .So i dont even want to think about going back.But coming from someone with a whole lot of experience. Poker is a drug.Its just the best and most healthy one.Ill never quit. Like someone above said .If everything falls apart .Get a deck of cards.

If you can't play poker anymore because you don't have internet, money, or pc damage....since playing poker obviously didn't provide enough revenue to be able to get internet again or replace a PC...a person is likely better off not playing in that case.

life would go on. if internet poker was taken away i would play live when i could. i bet there would be a home game at my house at that point.

No internet or PC damage are hardly enough reason to stop playing poker ... lol

There is also something called live poker at a local casino or with friends at home games etc.

Not having money then i would try to find some work, do that for a few months, quit, start playing again. Simple.:icon_thum

no intenet = I have cellphone network
no money = play freeroll
PC damage = Laptop, pad, cellphone

Humm, I always have a back up plan....LOL

PS: no power = have UPS LOL

always have to have other activities, even professionals do other things for entertainment or fun, poker is their job but a job you love .. so you have to have other activities that you like

Poker is about problem-solving. Therefore, I would:

-Get money.
-Fix pc.

I can advise not to deviate from its target, if there was a general goal to earn poker, and work on the game. If you have any difficulties, and find ways to overcome them.
You can always drop everything and start all over again...

It has actually happened. But it's happened plenty of times in connection with traditional jobs too.

Now that I think seriously about it, if I couldn't play poker I would probably be a better guitar player by now. (Yeah, poker, it's all your fault.)

From all the hobbies I started in my childhood, Chess is the only hobby stayed with me, I've been playing chess since I was 3-4 years old . It's a really interesting game.

I have never even thought about it, and it could happen, but I doubt it because it has a lot of money behind it and many want to get their hands on some of it. Before long it will be all over the US. Nothing can stop that. Poker has been around a long time and is here to stay. Anyway if it did happen, I'm like others, I would get me a deck of cards.

Poker is a hobby for me as I have many other interests in life , so I would probably try and get my poker fix live at a casino if I could no longer play on line.Maybe I would just devote more time to my other hobbies.......scorp

I would go back to being sad and lonely. Im disabled poker is my outlet to forget I'm wheelchair bound. Its one place I'm normal because poker is more mental than physical. I hope to never lose poker in my life.

I can understand, when you feel treated equally because people look at what u can do, not what is ur look. Once I got disabled friend and he was the best student at my former university. But people do always judge look first, especially women (no offense to women

Since poker is not my main income (most likely never will be) I would just move on to something else. I have to have something something else to keep me occupied though, or I will go MAD!
