I find it hard not to defend my SB, BB. I know I shouldn't but sometimes, especially online, I can't help myself

My bad habit is that when I get tired, I want to win quickly and therefore lose self-control. I also often want to eat during the game and start to get distracted from the game, periodically running to the refrigerator:giggle:

I spotted that in some situation i play to much defensive or just to much scary. In some hands there are situations when i should go all in or at least play pot but i play very small amount of chips. I work on this and believe i'll play it better.

a bad habit that I have lately is not following my knowledge, for example when I have to bluff and I don't do it for fear of losing the tournament, even knowing that in the long term it is profitable perform a bluff on that oxacion

MY worst leak is over valuing my hands. The value of a hand is determined by the board. A boat is a good hand, but a rowboat does not beat a battleship. Sometimes you just have to fold a very good hand.

Without necessarily disclosing anything that can be exploited, what is your own absolute worst habit when playing poker that you know is giving you trouble?

For me, it's the habit of being too eager for button-clicking (to call/fold/raise). I mean, I already thought the situation through during that space of 5 seconds, right? just click already. Nope, turns out, rushed decision. And the reason is that my hand is always on the mouse. Now I had to take my hand away from the mouse so that I give myself a few extra seconds to mull things over a bit more. Like DNegs once moaned to himself, "just take it slow, man..."

How about you?
For me is not sticking to my game plan

Boredom, is my biggest problem. That leads me, to do other things, like surf the web, play other games while, i'm playing poker. It is a habit that i need to rid myself off.

Hi,
My worst absolute habit is thinking that I am a better player than my opponent, so I don't allow myself to analyse their moves since I am sure they are being wrong.
Now, I am trying hard to learn from other players and reajust my game whenever I get the chance to.

Sometines I make insta calls that I shouldn't do, and right after I call, I realize that if had I thought a little bit more, I would rather fold. It already got me in some bad spots, and I'm trying to overcome this. The main reason for this I've found out it's loss of focus.

My worst is that I always want to thick the check/call box or fold. It happened a lot of times that the player before me just raised and I made a call on a larger sum that I intended, or went directly all in. Or another situation that I encountered was playing 3-4 tables in the same time and wanted to thick one of the boxes but another table pooped up and I placed the bet to a different table. In a couple of hands I was lucky with this kind of mistake but most of the times it was a very bad decision. What I tried lately is to have a little of patience and to wait my turn to make the move.

A bad habit? I don't have bad habits, it could be very angry. Some situations in tournaments make me angry but I'm trying to improve that and be calmer.

My worst mistake is to try to recover a loss increasing the buy in. I know it's wrong, but I did a few times almost always with disastrous results.

I pay even though I know 80% that she has a stronger hand than me just because I like my hand and I don't want to give it up, I don't do that if I have to throw all the chips in the game.

My poker education was (and still is) largely based on correcting my bad habits that I developed on my own or that I borrowed from other players. Fear of bluffing. Bluffs are extremely important in poker and are an integral part of your growth as a player and advancing you to higher stakes.

A bad habit is not knowing how to control yourself, since while you are winning you want to close the session, but when you are losing you have more encouragement to continue playing since you want to recover what you lost

Bad habits? Where to start. Limping way to much. Playing garbage small blind hands. Playing too tight. Playing too loose when bored. And more! Long list lol.

HAHA, that was my first thought, you are getting information to exploit. For me I am not good enough make it matter. My problem is I play not to loose instead of playing to win. If I can get past that, it will improve my game massively.
